I hope they all are over-occupied with holding their spots and not creating lanes, etc. etc.
  1. The OL will have something to say about that
  2. Dak and the receivers thank you for slowing your pass rush.

The Cowboys' first matchup with the Packers was a meeting of the NFL's top rushing offense vs. the top rushing defense.
And Ezekiel Elliott helped the Cowboys get the best of that matchup with 157 rushing yards.

This time around, the Packers are emphasizing discipline in their efforts to halt Elliott, according to PackersNews writer Ryan Wood.

The Packers need to take Elliott off the field to give Green Bay quarterback Aaron Rodgers time to work his magic.

"He does a real good job," Packers linebacker Clay Matthews said of Elliott, "of kind of finding the holes and being patient, and that's where he makes a lot of teams pay. I'm not saying we have to do anything special, but we need to do our job. If you look at the runs he hit on us the first time, it was guys just doing too much or kind of playing outside the scheme.

"That's what we're focusing on this week, is being accountable and doing our job and being where we need to be."

The team told PackersNews they were more concerned with sending a message and getting big hits in the first matchup.

"When a guy makes a mistake, [Elliott] attacks right where you make a mistake from," defensive tackle Letroy Guion said. "That's what makes you pay."

Everyone has a plan until they get punched in the mouth. And our O-line throws a nasty punch!

Exactly. At least five very large men are interested in Zeke getting as many yards as possible.

They'll put 8-9 in the box and sell out on stopping him. That will leave Beaz, Dez, JWit and others with single coverage: it's as simple as Dak hitting throws he's hit all year. He might miss a couple on first drive due to nerves but he has a calmness about him. He'll hit more than enough throws to loosen them up. Then we'll run Zeke. We WILL have to pass to open up the running lanes IMO. They'll be laying for Zeke. Dak will make them pay like he has all season. Key to game: Dak on O and our front 7 on D. We win 30-24.
Yep, I wouldn't leave Dez one on one with anyone right now. If they want to pull a safety down or two, good luck.

Way I see it our OL was the reason they were not in the proper position to make a play, when you are getting plowed over it is hard to be in the right position. Dallas OL needs to come out and move people off the ball and give Zeke the running lanes.

Do the Packers know that Linehan is going to stretch there horrible secondary deep? Pick your poison because they can't stop both.

Matthews might move to the middle LB position for this game.
If that's the case then it takes him away quite a bit from from rushing Dak in the pocket advantage Cowboys let's hope that is what Capers come up with in terms of slowing down Zeke they will get ran out of the stadium.
