His concussions / "sickness" still seem a little sketchy to me, but I'm sure that the team knows what the real issues are. We really missed him against GB.
3 million is absolute max you offer him. I think he is dealing with mental issues honestly. His mother had bipolar disorder and we know it's hereditary. He just didn't look right on sidelines the last few weeks of season. That being said, it's been soooo long since I have seen MLB for Dallas drop the hammer like him (Ken Norton Jr was probably last I saw do it).
I think he only had one concussion and tried coming back too quick from it and it made him feel dizzy. Though this situation does remind me a bit of the Crosby situation a few years ago. He had 2 concussions in a little over a week then missed A LONG time and it turned out that his real issue wasn't the concussions but a neck injury. They treated the neck and he was back within a few weeks I believe.
Physically there isn't a concern for the future to me. But the concussions are another story. Hopefully they will be looked into more in the next few weeks. Either way, I'm not giving RoMc a long term deal. I'd really like to see him return next year. A healthy Lee and RoMc on the field at the same time is a big step in the right direction for our defense.
Then our defense will be soft again. If he checks out with team physician, I fully him back. He's been a beast for us. He had our "we-fense" hitting all year.
