Hardy commanded a lot of double teams for a lazy guy that was out of shape.

I buy the idea that he didn't put out the effort once the team's record tanked, but I don't buy that he was out of shape and lazy the entire year.

Just once, I'd like to see one if these articles actually provide some solid examples of bad behavior rather than taking the easy, lazy course quoting something "reported" elsewhere.

Is it too much to ask that a purported journalist do some level of work to support what they're claiming in a story?

Sign him now. Like today. Please?

I have to think they wait till after the draft if/when they make an offer. I really don't want Bosa at 4 but there are a lot of good 2nd and 3rd rounders. If one drops a round and you get a bargain you may not want Hardy back even at a bargain price.

If you don't get that kind of pick and Hardy is unsigned, you can probably get him on a bargain. Hardy on a make-good incentive based deal is exactly the kind of situation where he might return to his old form.

Not that this would have made an enormous difference in his production, but he also didn't draw nearly as many holding flags as he earned. The refs are human too, and they have their biases. He was completely mugged, right in front of a ref, right before Sam Bradford threw his game-winning TD against us in overtime.

Hardy was treated like Hitler by the press last year and the NFL employees weren't oblivious to that.

Now that the media's hypocrisy on Hardy has died down, he'll get fair treatment by refs... anywhere but Dallas, that is. The Cowboys are likely the only team who would get ROASTED by the press if they signed Hardy tomorrow.

This B.S. OK I really think he had a rough first year adjustment....the guy may have partied, missed meetings and come to work late, but he didn't get any D.U.I's, traffic incidents, arrested for anything. He was a beast during camp with great work ethic and all, he commanded constant double teams. 6 sacks, 1 int all this after 4 games inactive. I just keep thinking of Charles Haley....SIGN HIM JERRY

He is a woman beater.........only way a team would give him a shot is if they thought he was good for 15+ sacks.

Hardy showed he isn't, thus he is not worth any team getting destroyed in the media for signing a woman beater.

Besides, it looks a little hypocritical for the NFL to be doing public service announcements with their "NO MORE" campaign with players like Elie Manning just staring into the camera and then to have teams hand players involved in domestic abuse million dollar contracts. That is why players like Ray Rice and Greg Hardy basically have the "Scarlett mark" now and everybody avoids them like the plague.

I get ya but i dont think you ever had to question ray lewis' work ethic or leadership. Sure he mightve killed a guy but he was on time to team meetings and gave it his all haha

I don't buy it either.

That said, I do buy that he was a massive pain in the ***.
