I saw a youtube video where the guy said the nfl banned mascots. I searched for that info and found nothing. Anybody else hear about this?

Rowdy was banned, by the cowboys themselves for certain on field activities. After he almost ran over a cheerleader 3 or 4 years ago with his 4 wheel ATV. He now only rides it across the field once, when no one is on the field a long time before KO. Not even sure he does that anymore.

'America's Team' is no longer America's most hated team.

Sports Illustrated put together a list of the most hated people, places and things in the NFL today and said the New England Patriots have surpassed the Cowboys as the league's most hated team.

"For the longest time the Dallas Cowboys held this spot, making their claim to being 'America's Team' at least mildly ironic," SI's Chris Burke wrote. "But the Patriots' recent title — and the issue of deflated footballs that hung over it — may have tipped the scales in the court of public opinion."

There is one piece of the Cowboys that does show up on the most hated list though: the Cowboys' mascot, Rowdy.

I recall the Saints coming to town during Parcells watch, and he put Mitch Berger on the ground during pregame warmups. That should have ended Rowdy's existence right there, but somehow that waste of time and space continues to plague this organization.

but is this the same rowdy? I am not that familiar with rowdy as a mascot.
I cant recall seeing him at a home game on tv.
