I love having Dez and I expect a deal to be done but they are being lead around right now by agents and in Dez case 2 agents. This is one concern I have with Jay Z organization because I am concerned they will be out to make a name for themselves.

If they couldnt work it out and Dez, i wonder if Dallas would try to work out a trade while he was franchised. IMO teams like the raiders would give up a boatload for him lol. Give me Raiders RD1 and RD2 picks. That would be extreme lol. I feel like making a mock with this trade to see th amount of hate i would get. lol

The bold is talking about a home discount. if you think 11mil over 10 yrs is a home discount, im scared to think of what you think is a fair one.

Right, but Condon is with CAA- not ROC as that partnership has dissolved and I doubt will be "trying to make a name" for Roc Nation no matter if Miale is there, or not.

NO disagreement from me on him being one of the best. Dallas isnt questioning his worth on the field. Theyre trying to protect themselves off the field. Ask yourself this, if Dallas didnt have their security babysitting him for the past 2 yrs, how many times do you think he wouldve been suspended by now by the league?

Not what I'm disputing and I admit I was generally incorrect in my first statement that they weren't with ROC- a more correct statement would have been the representation is actually split between two agencies.

It would make an already complicated situation even more complicated for all parties.

idk if we should give both murray and dez a big contract. I don't want to break the bank or either, but if i had to choose one it would be Dez. He showed how good he is for more than a year. Murray really just been good/healthy this year in a contract year at a position (RB) that really guys in later rounds come out and do good. We don't want another marion barber type moment. Our oline is good.

I agree. Had Parker stayed on as his agent we would not be talking about this since they were already close to getting a deal done. That ship sailed and now Cowboys deal with 2 clowns instead of 1. lol. I will be glad when it is done that will give us a good idea of what the Cowboys will do for the rest of FA

That's a question that can't be answered. Be that as it may, I'm not really focusing on Dallas. I'm focusing on the comment regarding Dez giving a home-town discount. He's going to want as much money as he could get. And I don't blame him.
And, yes, the Cowboys helped him off the field. But let's not kid ourselves. The Cowboys weren't being altruistic. They had as much to benefit from Dez getting his life straight on the field and off as Dez did.
I mean, they're not going to do what for just anybody. They're simply protecting their investment because they see that by doing so, that investment can reap huge dividends. But that investment is going to consider his worth too.
