It's a fan crutch. If Romo and Dez play, Linehan suddenly becomes a better play caller.

I'm not blaming anyone for this aborted season other than God (luck), Brandon Weeden and the idiot/idiots responsible for having him on this roster and for completely misreading the RB situation.

Garrett wasn't even there during the Cowboys best years. He has one year under Norv, and the rest under seriously deteriorating play-calling. Zampese was done by then and I can't even remember who comes next..

I remember during the train wreck of bad offensive play-calling, we had guys like Coslett.

The fact we were that dominant in running last year, but 24th on play action shows how bad the playbook is. The fact we were like thirty when Garrerr had full reigns is even more proof that this lack of creativity in te passing game goes way back...

What makes it even worse is that it's a vertical passing game.. Nothing to make DBs try and cheat or play up at the line, but think about pass.

Dallas play calling needed last minute Romo the first two games to win.

The excuse of Dez and Romo absolving the play calling is nonsense, always has been.

The argument back then was Leary was injured, and Zach wasn't playing up to par because of allegedly his neck.

Against the Eagles, it was supposedly the Eagles even defended the run well last year.

Now the excuse is its Randle, as of Randle gets no excuse regarding the play of others.

There's something different with the pickups along the OL, too many guys getting whipped and flat out missing blocks. But I haven't had time to dive into it.
Plays are way to slow developing, another way to defeat 8 men in the box lead draw or a dive yet its non existent in this offense.
We may miss calahan more than I thought we would.

Garrett played on Dallas teams that could just line up and be predictable and still dominate opposing defenses. It seems like he believes the current team can do the same thing. It can't. When will he and the staff realize it and put some creativity in the offense?
