Dude has barely picked up a club in 2 years and strolled out there a goofs around as more of a favor for his dad (who has been playing a lot and really wanted Tony to come along). Did you think he was going to just show up and be the scratch golfer that he normally is?

Same goes for me.........so hard to convey sarcasm/humor on the innerwebs...........Al Gore really should look into this. It appears to be chronic.

I think this story is very telling .............playing competitive golf with his father surrounded by family is about as good as it gets......it also means he is fully healthy and isn't 100% concerned with the optics of golf taking away from any practice time

I think he may have turned a corner and will retire and take the "good life" over chasing a dream of winning a SB as the hero in HOU and maybe getting injured again and ruining his post-NFL golf future with his family

Kudos on the post
