"The reality of it is that time usually tells you when you're done. I know I'm playing some of my best football this offseason. It's been very enjoyable. I'm pretty excited about what lies ahead."

I'm excited, too, unless those injuries that increase with age hit. He proved in 2014 that age isn't a factor yet if he's healthy. Hopefully, this line and running game will be able to keep him upright and healthy.

Going into what will be his 13th season with the Dallas Cowboys, including 10 as the starting quarterback, Romo is the third-highest-rated passer in NFL history with an efficiency rating of 97.1.

I wonder how many non-Cowboys football fans know this?

I'm betting not many and those who don't likely don't believe it's true.

and here I was calling Jerry senile for saying Romo might have 5 more years left.

Did Tony break his collar bone, or his head.........J/K....

Wonder what the Vegas odds are on the over under. My bet is it's closer to 4 years than it is 10 years, and by saying that, I do not mean 5 or 6 either.

That's nice.

Hopefully, it will stay that way when real bullets start flying. Playing great in the offseason doesn't mean a whole lot.

Romo will find out that when the body starts to break down, it falls pretty fast. Just ask Peyton Manning.

Not sure that's a great example. Manning played for years with his body breaking down and squeezed a final Super Bowl out of it.

Romo is just a likeable guy. When the time is up I hope he does some television and appearances on talk shows. He would be funny and light hearted and put people in their place at the same time.

3 years ago, Manning was setting the world on fire in that Denver offense until they got thumped by Seattle in the Super Bowl. The Cowboys were one of his victims.
Last year, they won in spite of him, not because of him.

It was a pretty steep fall to me.

I hope he does too, I'm sure sitting at home being dad all day will get old after a while. I could see him being on NFL network in some capacity

3 years is an NFL lifetime, but I agree that when it goes, it goes. I'll be happy if we get three more good seasons with Romo. Anything else is gravy.
