DMN Watkins: Post-Minicamp Observations

But is it wise to be commenting at all if your Choice and this is indeed the case?

What's better when asked about someone you know? A "no comment" or a supportive comment?

Why are you even wasting time being skeptical about it? Trying for an I-told-you-so already? :D

Felix, Choice, Jenkins and Scandrick all measured about 5'10" at the Combine. And they all look it in this photo, so I don't know what he's referring to with regards to height.

I read something about Benette's attitude and posture this weekend.

Anyone else looking at Benette and thinking he seems like a clown - has potential but won't take football serious enough to ever develop.

I hope he can put a game face on in practice and for the games.

Is Watkins writing a "Cowboys for Dummies" article?

I'd be surprised if Choice isn't the #3 R.B., not only surprised, but SHOCKED!

The NFL measures each player at the Combine, so it's not like they can lie about his height (as colleges do). Jones is 5-10 1/8.

Was it the same group that measured the vertical jump at the combine this year? Those were spot on compared to the pro days.

You have never played a down with the team you are joining. No comment is the wise way to go about this.

"I watched him when I was younger but I really don't know much about what's going on with that. I wish him well but I have to be busy with making this team myself."

That would be what I would consider a wise response. JMO

I'm guessing you won't see many smiles or goofy body posture once all the vets show up and start practicing the way a real NFL franchise practices.

Bennett will learn what it's all about very quickly...he's a funny guy who's going to be a little like Nate Newton as a quote machine, but he's also said all the right things about learning from Witten, etc.

"Good guy. Had some problems but he's getting himself a chance to get on track."

That's what he said. You seriously have a problem with that? Wow.

Hello Theo.

I agree with abersonc

I sure will be suprised if Choice doesn't beat out everyone and anyone for the 3rd running back position!

And unless he's injured, he would never make it on a practice squad. That whole comment seemed ********!

I was thinking the very same thing.

No kidding.

That's about as P.C. and truthful as it gets.

Dunno how anyone could have a problem with that comment.

My question on this article is, why would Choice be making any comments about any thing? He's a rookie who has been to one mini camp. How is he going to know about what the Cowboys are thinking about anything?

I'm a bit sketpical about Choice and his supposed comments. If indeed Choice is talking about PacMan, I think that's a big mistake but I don't see it. JMO.

"Good guy," Choice said of Pac. "Had some problems but he's getting himself a chance to get on track."

That was all Choice said, what was wrong with it???...where in that did he comment on what the Cowboys are thinking?

Of course, all you are correct and I am wrong. Good luck with that.
