Full disclosure, there was a lot of traffic over this subject before the Cowboys ever signed Hardy so I don't think it's fair to say that there would have been no interest because the facts do not support that. Would there still be interest to the level we are currently seeing on this board? That is at least debatable but that too is subjective. The truth is that we will never know.

Agree to disagree and move on IMO. That statement can't be proven so it can't be stated as anything other then opinion.

i've made my point clear in every conversation about this - what i am mad about is the uneven application of penalties from the main office. i don't like goodell being judge, jury and executioner and i've had it. i don't care who he does it to, it's wrong. so rogah can simply go hug a root and be mad in his own little world where everyone is make believe and has no mind of their own and are only capable of the thoughts he allows us to have.

I understand for sure. My own opinion is that this smacks of inequity. There is a lot about this that I don't like but not everybody agrees with that. The issue is sensitive and as a result, you are going to have strong opinions. Just gotta accept that everybody isn't going to agree on this.

i'm fine with not agreeing. that's how most civil discussions *can* get started. unfortunately for some a disagreement becomes a matter of right and wrong and a "fight". i'd love to hear more about why people feel the way they do and compare it to how i feel. see if we can find a common ground to stand on in time. but when it becomes a "you're a homer cause you don't do xyz" got no time for that. no argument win, and anything you could learn from this person, you just did. end it and move on.

i do have a short fuse when people start telling me how i feel w/o ever taking the time to ask, much less understand. so when i see people apply speculation for their side but not allow it for the other, it's pretty cut and dry ******** to me.

i will fully admit that if hardy didn't come to dallas i'd likely not have looked as much into the background, true. but to say i'm dismissing evidence so he'll go tackle someone in the name of the cowboys, please. not everyone is as shallow as some would have them be.

There were pages about Hardy way before he was ever a Cowboy.

There were hundreds of posts about Rice, Peterson and Brady.

The Zoners have been more than fair and open minded about all these cases, even Hardy's.

Some people just won't give Hardy an inch because they believe he hit a woman. Those minds will never be changed.

Apparently the truth hurts some people - very much.

Don't get pissy just because you can't handle it. I've said all along the problem when fans of a certain team feel they are getting screwed is the fans of the 31 other teams don't give a crap. If anything, depending on the team getting screwed, they enjoy it.

If Hardy was signed by any other team, no one in this forum would care how fairly or unfairly the league was treating him. And if he was signed by Philly or the Giants, we'd all be laughing about it.

Well, that's just garbage. I don't like it when any team or player gets the short end from a league that is supposed to look out for it's member's best interests, equally and fairly. So you'll forgive me if I think you write a lot of nonsense.

I would laugh if it was the Giants or the Eagles, but I would still say it wasn't right. The league and Goodell, needs to know it's place. Making **** up as it pleases, isn't the league's job.

Why won't we? You could use google to find out how many posts in Hardy threads there were prior to his signing (should probably set the cutoff prior to the rumors of his signing) and after.

I'm betting on after and I don't think it would even be close. How could anyone? This is a Cowboy's message board.
