Do college scouts look more into Private schools than public schools?

It seems like it in my area. I was going attend a public school this year but that would mean giving up my starting varsity job. I decided I would rather start football then enjoy a better school.

More private school kids in my city go to more D1 schools than public school kids. I was wondering if this is true in all areas.

No, it is not true in all areas. It depends on the makeup of the region you live. In most parts of Texas, public schools produce a far greater number of college football players than private schools.
