I don’t expect big moves
I expect competence and signing quality players that either can start or be key rotational pieces
That’s all I ever wanted….not unproven 8 year vets
look I get what you're saying and I'm not going to go through the whole list, would be too much research,
but people somehow sweep under the carpet they think unproven guys or washed guys is all that comes here I'm sorry but Kendricks, Brandin cooks, Gilmore, Lawson, , Turpin, Hankins, peters, Joseph, Kearse, Hooker, Sieg, and Jordan Philips, all a mix of young or proven vets with a little left...
Like I said there are more,
those are just the ones I think of off the top of my head, some growled at the notion of bringing those guys in, especially Kendricks last year turned out to be one of the better linebackers we've had here at middle linebacker in a really long time..
his numbers were very good.. But those technically are free agents that we got from the UFL all turned out to be good players. I mean we got the best kicker in the league you don't count him as a free agent because somehow it doesn't feel the same.
And I agree I want them to do a little bit more, but that's not all they bring in some are washed some are just role players which every team has players 40 through 63 are just basically what you describe either young or journeyman that are just moving around team to team to fill those roles...
What the title said you don't need to make big overpayments for like a guy like huff that's what Jerry's trying to avoid... yes, the eagles made a lot of other moves that worked but they paid the most money last offseason to a defensive end it did absolutely nothing last year, he was one of those foolish moves because he had a name..
They can make some moves more of them like 3 or 4 guys like Kendricks or even slightly better, ie more than last off season.
that's what I'm looking for; solid free agents in the Tier 2/3 level that can help the team mixed with the draft and some of the players you brought back, and WiII get back from injury etc.
