Do not give the ball to Pollard for 20 carries a game

Won't stop the ridiculous and tired "Coach Jones" or "Doctor Jones" jokes. New material is needed around here.

I'm not looking to stop ridiculous around here. I can only give me views and people will believe what they choose.

I think Jerry tends to get his talking points from the coaching staff, not the other way around.

You sure about that? Clearly you have forgotten that time Jerry went down to the sideline mid game to tell Garrett that Romo was going to come back into a game. That was Jerry inserting himself into operations roles he should have no part of. Anyone who thinks that was an isolated incident isn't paying attention.

I would say 15 touches and as far as Pollard future, would not rule out the Cowboys trying to resign him. I would not go over 7 mill avg per season if someone else does then so be it. I don't get into the Zeke vs Pollard crap but I do know a playmaker when I see one and Pollard is a playmaker
thats my number as well,

figure if zeke takes a 50% pay cut that pollards money, we can keep both. Nice to dream..

I would not doubt Cowboys will ask for the pay cut, I can't say what Zeke reply would be. If released I can almost guarantee Zeke will be picked up by someone

He will have 2 weeks recovery time. And Zeke should be back. All will be well with the 1-2 punch again.
I like the 50-50 distribution
I do like the idea of both on the field more and using pollard in the pass game out of it. He’s dynamic with the ball in his hands
12-14 carries and 3-5 touches in the passing game would be pretty effective I think

They need to stay about 50/50. We need both fresh for the end of the year. They can be our Thunder and Lightning. Let Zeke pound them while Pollard blows by them. Pollard had a great game against Chicago but Chicago has the 31st ranked run defense so we all knew they were going to struggle in that area if Kellen Moore stuck with the running game. The surprise was how well we passed the ball on Chicago. They have the 6th ranked passing defense in the league. They only give up 188 yards passing per game. If Moore will stay committed to the run then Dak can work off of play action pass. It's no secret that the best teams in the NFC right now are winning because they have a running threat that makes things easier on their QBs. The Eagles, Cowboys, Giants, Seahawks, 49ers, and Falcons are all run heavy teams. The Vikings are kind of the only outlier right now.

Someone posted earlier that pollard has had over 15 touches in a game once since high school. Think we do the same thing to maximize his explosiveness.
