I hardly ever advocate tanking a game on purpose but in this situation I feel a little different. If the skins start resting players and appear they are not trying to win, then we need to throw in the towel. I would not let a division rival affect my draft position on purpose. Who cares about winning a meaningless game when the opponent is not trying. In this game, neither team has anything to gain but one team, us, has quite a bit to lose. I get that they may rest players to stay away from injury, but if they do, then we need to follow suit and go as vanilla as is possible. In fact we can never take the lead because as soon as we do, I feel they will never try and score again.

Nobody in the Cowboys team will try to lose this game. They are professionals who are paid to win every single game, and going into the offseason with a win feels much better than losing for draft positioning.
Besides, there really isn't much difference between #5 or #8, in the previous drafts there hasn't been any extreme advantage in picking #4,5 versus picking #7,8.

I say we go out there an beat the crap out of the Commanders and sweep the season series, any other mentality or losing preference deserves no place in a Cowboys locker room.

All the Cowboys have to do is just keep doing what they've been doing, and 4-12 is assured. Not worried about messing up the draft pick at all.

I can't believe I have this attitude right now- I never did before- but this season really changed me. Since the 7 game losing streak I've mentally mailed it in. I've been thinking about starting over in 2016 for a long time.
