Have you checked out the new forum?Garrett will have cookies and ice cream waiting for everybody in the locker room as he hands out participation trophies for the season.
It is going to be EPIC!!!!
coherence?Dictionary.
What a sad reflection of this fan base. Hoping for a loss and even worse, its against the Skins. Pitiful. No wonder we don't have a home field crowd worth a crap.
And you can tell 'em that you rooted for the 'Skins against your team, 'cause it was better for the metagame. NO disagreement that it is better for the metagame. But the high dudgeon of some folks would be hilarious. Despite still being in striking range for a player who is adjudged 'best at' his position.
would be a hilarious game to watch if both sides were 100% committed to losing
Nah, we are going to go all out against the Skin's scrub backups since they are sitting everybody and their momma.
Then when we win, we will all talk about what a great victory it was and Garrett might even cry in the postgame presser because he is so proud of this team.
I can't believe I convinced my mother and grandmother to get us tickets to go to this game haha. I'm still very excited to go and I'll cheer us on against our biggest rival of all time, pumped to see us play them.
And where did that get good old Herm? A gig on ESPN I guess.........
Dude. Both teams are going to be trying their mightiest to lose this game. Washington will want to stick it to us for a lower draft pick plus they have nothing to play for. The NFCE is sewn up. We, on the other hand, have plenty to play for... But I get Garrett finds a way to screw it up and we end up drafting 8th.
I just don't get the mindset. I can not and I will never hope for, root for, or like any loss by my team regardless of the circumstances. I would be ashamed of any player that doesn't give 100 % trying to win every game. I played this game for 14 years and coaches a few more and I have to much respect and love for the game not to give it all I have every chance i had. I think it's a disgrace how many fans want to lose. I really do. It makes me sad and is way more disappointing to me than this season has been.
The Commanders are going to mail it in also.
With all of our collective focus on losing this game, there's no way we lose it. This is another opportunity for the Boys to let us down this season and we will rise to the occasion and win an ugly game that proves how inept and unintelligent our coaching staff really is. It won't be a satisfying victory on or off the field. Bank on it!
(Btw, my stomach turned posting this. How wretched a season this was.)
Do not (I repeat) do not go out on Sunday and make any attempts to beat the Skins. The ability to trade down for value from a top 3 pick is so much more appealing than #7 or 8... We should be resting anyone of value that does not require further evaluation. Guys like Showers should be dressed and ready to take a half of football. This should be treated very much like a preseason game. What do we have to gain here against the Skins? ZILCH!
We already beat the Skins this year when it mattered. Winning this game would suck and I have no doubt Jerry would throw up a little in his throat if, at the final bell, the Cowboys are ahead of the Skins. I would even venture to say some of you will too. Let the backups battle it out for early slotting next year. This isn't tanking 101 here... This is one game with one outcome that has already been determined.
For once coaches, go with a winning strategy.
Yay, we beat the Commanders! We are winners!!!!!
