So it's very simple the Cowboys have to win this one or it's pretty much over for Dak regardless of what kind of game he has. If he gets over the hump and beats Brady because that's what this game comes down to Dak vs Brady. If he gets it done he'll be the first and only Cowboys' quarterback to beat him ever, not only that he needs to show everyone that he's a top-tier quarterback and that he can lead the Cowboys to at least the NFC Championship game if not the Super Bowl. If the Cowboys lose Monday night you can pretty much cash in your chips Dak because the media, the fans, and everyone else that you can think of will tear you apart for the rest of your career so make this game your defining moment!

Its not do or die time. I mean maybe for us fans but for Dallas? If he loses he will be the QB next year. If he wins? He will be the QB next year. Nothing will change. I saw Garrett get 10 years here. I saw Romo get 13. Someone will be a scapegoat i'm sure. But more importantly.....management won't change.

If the Cowboys lose it'll just be the same situation next year. The Cowboys are good enough that they should be in playoff contention, and we will be talking about if Dak and this team can get over the hump.

By contract if we want to avoid a punitive cap situation I think we are stuck with Dak no matter what for 2 more years?

If so then no do or die. He done made his. He set fo life. Thanks Booger !

If he plays like he did last week for sure. In 2016 he had an awesome game against GB though. We just started too late as usual

Doesn't matter who the coach is....the result is pretty much the same. Start off slow...catch up and just miss out. Different players, different coaches same result. That insinuates a culture issue especially if the one person that remains is the GM/Owner.

Might even use Lewis and Brown getting hurt as an excuse.I can already see it.
Steele too. They will talk about how Gallup will be better a year removed from injury, bring in a few C level free agents, hope to hit on another late 1st round draft pick, and convince the fan base everything will be better in 2023.

Why?

If you've defended him for 7 years why would 1 playoffs change you?

If you've thought he's not good for 7 years why would 1 playoffs change you?

After this playoffs Dak won't all of a sudden become a talented QB in peoples mind or an untalented QB in other peoples mind.

Yep. Forgot about Steele. Probably get a high profile draft pick in the 1st round....maybe one in the 2nd who had he not gotten hurt or went to jail would've been a top 10 pick. I mean i've seen this story before. You just hope as a fan they can win in spite of it.

Quarterbacks get too much of the credit and too much of the blame. Dak could have a quarterback rating of 140 and defense could give up 30 plus points, players could put the ball on the ground, and kicker can miss kicks. And all we would hear about is Dak couldn't be Brady? I'm not the biggest Dak fan but this is a little unfair.

Go Cowboys!!!

If we are going to make it. Dak will have to take us there. just plain & simple. He will have to make 1 or 2 playoff tight window throws down the stretch & I believe he can because I've seen the guy do it for years now. regular & postseason. He's ranked freaking #12 in QB playoff rankings. Behind geno, jones, lawrence, hurt. Wow. Total disrespect. Time for Dak to control the narrative now.

Nothing from his past matters now this is the game of his career right here, you win and you shut up all the doubters not only that your confidence is sky high going into the next game. Now on the other hand if you drop the ball and lose well that's pretty much it and it will be the same old same old one and done regardless how you finish the regular season from here on out so he better make it happen.
