Do or die time for Dak Prescott

But if Dak plays, struggles and loses bad (like the last game), I would not be surprised if we draft a QB in the top 3 rounds next draft.

Dak played really bad in 2 games all
season. The good far outweighs the bad.

He was top 10 in EPA / play this year despite the picks, which several weren’t on him.

If we lose my gut says he won’t be the main reason but we’ll see.

So it's very simple the Cowboys have to win this one or it's pretty much over for Dak regardless of what kind of game he has. If he gets over the hump and beats Brady because that's what this game comes down to Dak vs Brady. If he gets it done he'll be the first and only Cowboys' quarterback to beat him ever, not only that he needs to show everyone that he's a top-tier quarterback and that he can lead the Cowboys to at least the NFC Championship game if not the Super Bowl. If the Cowboys lose Monday night you can pretty much cash in your chips Dak because the media, the fans, and everyone else that you can think of will tear you apart for the rest of your career so make this game your defining moment!
Crazy post. Prescott can’t win by himself. He can play a great game and lose. If he plays like he did against Washington, that’s a different story. But do or die? No.

This one game is also not his ‘defining moment’. He can lose 35-14, win 2 SBs over the rest of his career, and nobody will care about Monday’s game with regard to his legacy in the league.

You act like he’s on the bubble. He isn’t.

I don't hear you Dak haters hating on Romo after never have been able to beat Tom Brady. 0-2 against Brady-led teams. Y'all NEVER tore him down for that the way y’all do to Dak.

Dak gets paid no matter what. Why should he give two $hits what fans and average joes in the media think.

This game will prove diddly squat about Dak or anyone else on this team. Bucs are not a very good team, they were just in a bad division. This is a game we SHOULD win, and we should win it by a wide margin.

We SHOULD win, but we are playing the GOAT.........................dude has never lost to Dallas in his 87 year career.;)

They will defense Dak the way they always do.
We need the offense to move Dak around to have a chance.

Me too. After last game my opinion went way down. Maybe not quite 50 / 50, but getting close.

I don't know if I'll go that far....yet but no mistake his inconsistency is alarming. At this point in his career, there is no excuse for games like last Sunday unless he's playing with an injury. Regardless of what happens Sunday, he has one more year before the out on his contract.

Nothing from his past matters now this is the game of his career right here, you win and you shut up all the doubters not only that your confidence is sky high going into the next game. Now on the other hand if you drop the ball and lose well that's pretty much it and it will be the same old same old one and done regardless how you finish the regular season from here on out so he better make it happen.
Beating the bucs would be a good start, but thats not quieting the noise. Bucs are an avg team, mostly due to injury, in a bad division.

if dak plays like crap, I'm going to blame Moore, the offensive line, the wide receivers, zeke, and fat mike, and then if this isn't enough, I'll blame the defense for not holding the Bucs to zero points. I think I have it covered.

Its not do or die time. I mean maybe for us fans but for Dallas? If he loses he will be the QB next year. If he wins? He will be the QB next year. Nothing will change. I saw Garrett get 10 years here. I saw Romo get 13. Someone will be a scapegoat i'm sure. But more importantly.....management won't change.
Ditto here.

Do or Die simply means:

the DO" if we win that's a step in right direction, further into the 2nd playoff rounds ...

the "DIE ' means a playoff exit loss, but Dak is Not gonna become Derek Carr outta here ..not so long as the Jones still lead the Cowboys.
They have invested too much in him, and yes they still believe in him as a leader.

If anything..the current coaches, ala Kellen, McCarthy and Mussheimer will catch the hell and highwater and will be made the scapegoats among
the Jones management .team, ..and they will deal with the likely changes.

I swear there are people here rooting for Dak to fail. It’s clownish. Here is a fact…He is your week 1 starter for the next 2 years.
