Do or die time for MM but not Dak. MM will likely get fired if he can’t win with all this talent. Dak will be the QB next year no matter what.

So it's very simple the Cowboys have to win this one or it's pretty much over for Dak regardless of what kind of game he has. If he gets over the hump and beats Brady because that's what this game comes down to Dak vs Brady. If he gets it done he'll be the first and only Cowboys' quarterback to beat him ever, not only that he needs to show everyone that he's a top-tier quarterback and that he can lead the Cowboys to at least the NFC Championship game if not the Super Bowl. If the Cowboys lose Monday night you can pretty much cash in your chips Dak because the media, the fans, and everyone else that you can think of will tear you apart for the rest of your career so make this game your defining moment!
I generally agree with this. If he comes out and has another Washington or first Tampa performance...it is going to get rough for him.

If he comes out and the whole team plays like hell, i wouldn't say it is his fault.

I feel like we he is going to play really well this week.

This sort of binary thinking has no place in a team sport. And aint nobody gonna die just because they lose. Well maybe somebody will.. but it won't be Dak. The team has to play well and win or everything will be called into question. But unless he just completely pees his pants Dak will be the Cowboys QB next year regardless of the outcome of this game. Sorry if folks don't like that reality.. but reality it is.

Dak either craps the bed, or he plays one of his bus driver games even getting his big stats, or he plays well AND pulls out a couple wow plays which make the difference.

We've the first two many times. It would be nice to see the third option, finally.

Due to his contract Dak is going to be our QB next year regardless of Monday.

But yea, if we lose I’d imagine the media and some of our fans will blame Dak no matter the reason why and how he plays.

Dak is here to stay until the end of the 2024 season. But Jerry Dumbo GM Jones have been know to let good players go and get nothing in return.

This game will prove diddly squat about Dak or anyone else on this team. Bucs are not a very good team, they were just in a bad division. This is a game we SHOULD win, and we should win it by a wide margin.
True that and if we win this game the same type of comments like the OP's will be circulating here again next week at this time.

But if Dak plays, struggles and loses bad (like the last game), I would not be surprised if we draft a QB in the top 3 rounds next draft.

Why?

If you've defended him for 7 years why would 1 playoffs change you?

If you've thought he's not good for 7 years why would 1 playoffs change you?

After this playoffs Dak won't all of a sudden become a talented QB in peoples mind or an untalented QB in other peoples mind.

……and just like some others that are deceased, he stands a pretty good chance of getting checks sent to him and voting every two years as well.;)

Nothing changes in this organization until Jerry dies. He's a terrible football guy who only want yes-men surrounding him...hence Mike McCarthy

You are 100% correct he will be the qb next year and I am sure the year after if not longer, as for peeing in his pants it wouldn’t matter he’s already crapped his pants in college.
