Do some fans not even realize how much this franchise has bottomed out?

I mean this in the most respectful way…but what the hell is wrong with you guys? lol

Don’t you guys miss saying “We’re every team’s Super Bowl” and making fun of Skins fans by saying “They wouldn't care if they only won 2 games as long as those two wins were against the Cowboys, while we’re not even thinking about them and getting ready for the playoffs”…Don’t you miss saying that?

Now, Chiefs fans are the ones saying they’re everyone’s Super Bowl…and it’s been Dallas fans saying “We almost swept the Commanders” during a losing season, while it’s Washington fans who brushed off games against Dallas and readied themselves for the playoffs and an NFC Championship game.

The NFC East needs the Cowboys to be the Cowboys again, not this “somewhat reasonable facsimile” of the Cowboys.

I think that money is the main thing that most players look at. The Cowboys aren't going to be as bad as Washington was just a year ago when they were drafting at the 2 spot. It's likely that the Cowboys will be healthier than they were last year and could actually have a better year than they did. They could actually improve.
All 32 teams are going to “improve”. One of Washington and Philly are not going to make the playoffs this season. Are the Cowboys going to leap frog either one of them?

Don’t know about him but I’m here to dog the homers. Don’t watch the games much anymore. Truth be told, we all know this organization won’t win anything for many years. This is a lot more fun.
I hear you, I like making fun of the whiners, they're frikkin hilarious. Like kids crossing their arms and pouting at their kindergarten teacher when she says recess is over. Priceless!

The last few years seen a lot of comments from some fans making fun of our players who leave in free agency and saying it's only about the money.

This year it's Jourdan Lewis and Tank taking the brunt of the homer comments. They're all about the money because they are going to teams like the Jags and Seahawks.

I guess my question for those people is do you actually realize how bad this team has been since 1997?
  • Almost at bottom of list of total Playoff Wins in NFL.
  • Haven't even come close to sniffing a Super Bowl.
  • Never made it out of the Divisional Round.
  • Long list of bad Head Coach hires.
This is not an expansion team. Why would any player NOT think he had a better chance to win somewhere else?
Players go to the money first. If a player has enough, and is looking to close out his career with winning a SB, Dallas is not the place to go.

I know right?
They have been one of the absolute worst run teams for going on a decade plus!
Multiple GMs and Head Coaches.
The Mara family even making the Joneses somehow appear competent as a football ownership family.

But then you see that they did have those 2 runs in '07 and '11 and that still beats 30 years of futility by a long shot.
Freakin' ridiculous.

What I wouldn't give for the most flukey, unlikely and luck filled run of 3 playoff wins...
Ain't even gotta be a SB.
Just a championship game at this point.
That's how far my expectations have shifted.
I'd be happy with a consistent O and a nutlock D.

Some of that's true but don't underrate some of the things they've done the last three days most of it's been defense I mean literally Solomon Thomas will contribute they brought back Rogers the other defensive tackle the rookie we let go and then brought back he will help 2 linebackers that I guarantee are better than the depth we had last year, they brought in Fowler probably a starter on the other side of Parsons and Turner to be the depth as a pass rusher and remember we played a lot of the season last year with a bunch of hurt players on defense they'll be coming back slowly but who knows when they're gonna be back.

But don't act like they haven't addressed the defense they mostly have dressed the defense so far in the offseason when they brought back bell and Thomas we still have starters the other two safeties. The big one is resigning OSA I mean these aren't moves I mean I don't know how some of you guys don't see that these are moves they're making it to where the draft becomes BPA and they're not gonna have to reach..

But yes right now the biggest hole I see is at corner especially slot corner but they can move bland back to the slot but then they would still need an outside guy so they're gonna have to work that out whether it's both in free agency maybe Gilmore comes back and then you add a guy in the draft it may even be a first round starter at corner i mean it's wide open there at #12...
The Cowboys are coming in third, at best, this season. Your spewing your typical nonsense doesn’t change that.

The reality is that Dallas is no longer the team everyone would like to play for, nor the team to beat. There is simply a stubbornness in wanting to continue selling the past glories of what the Cowboys were, which today is just a past story.
Lewis and D'Law's comments have revealed what the team is now, a team without identity or direction.

Yet here you are whining
I am. My dad used to tell me when I was growing up, tell me who you hang out with, and I'll tell you, who you are. I've been hanging around a bunch if whiners, you've all managed to turn me into one. Difference, I whine about crybabies that i dont give a flip about, you guys whine about the team, that apparently, dictates your happiness.

Can't be that bad, you're still here. Can you tell us why?
"Calling me a clown won’t change the fact that I told the truth. Maybe if you spent less time tweeting and more time winning, I wouldn’t have left," Lawrence tweeted.

Despite the social media beef, Lawrence posted a heartfelt letter to Cowboys fans on Saturday.

“I have had the honor and privilege to wear the star and call myself a Dallas Cowboy for my entire NFL career. There has never been a moment since the day Jerry Jones called to draft me that I haven't loved every person in the Dallas community, every fan that supports the Cowboys across the world, and every player, coach, and staff member of that incredible organization," part of Lawrence's statement read.

This pride and loyalty element is now fully upon the shoulders of the new staff. To establish team pride now that the standards and leadership among players have been evicted.

Jerry isn't the heart of that. He provides the opportunity, the rest has to be won and carried off the carpet. Forged in fire, for real.

Parsons, the head of the defense, hasn't done it old school. He has been led astray with labels and backed by Hollywood culture that thinks privileged attitude controls the NFL now. It is still nose to nose won through a game. Smart is always an advantage...not status symbols reflected.

This fan is watching, enjoying, and not giving up what is right for wrong reasons.

In football, honor is fought for. That is what a fan invests in ... what actually is invested and fought for. Not labels attached, Hollywood glamor roles.

Heading into his seventh NFL season, Campbell becomes the most experienced wide receiver on the Cowboys' roster, ahead of CeeDee Lamb by one year. He'll be the second oldest at the position as well, behind KaVontae Turpin (28), giving Dallas a veteran presence in the room going forward.
