Problem is, he doesn’t kickoff and wants to be paid. Anger also does not kickoffI know Gould is ancient, but I would have at least brought him in to compete.
Fair enough.Problem is, he doesn’t kickoff and wants to be paid. Anger also does not kickoff
He must think he sucks.Cowboys should have brought Maher back.
If Bones Fassel is as good as they say he is, why didn't he keep Maher and help him get that mental playoffs glitch fixed?
Brett Maher (2022) stats:He must think he sucks.
Training camp starts July 24th. Last year they signed Maher in August. So there is plenty of time.I honestly don't know who their starting kicker is right now? Did they sign someone? What are they waiting for?
I guess you don't read or watch the coverage. Of course they have a kicker. They talk about this every signal day.I honestly don't know who their starting kicker is right now? Did they sign someone? What are they waiting for?
Where are you getting this? They kick in every practice. How can you miss this?No we do not currently have a kicker. Really need to revisit the Maher situation. The guy was money all year, missed some xp’s and that was that. Bring him back please.
Bro, Vizcaino sucks. Pretty much just a temporary stand-in.Where are you getting this? They kick in every practice. How can you miss this?
According to the experts that post here all kickers suck. I love these kicking threads.Bro, Vizcaino sucks. Pretty much just a temporary stand-in.
I think they're looking at the whole picture. As in the playoffs and what he did before 2022....and he's also still a free agent. He went in for a tryout with the Chargers didnt' he? He left without a contract. That says a lot.Brett Maher (2022) stats:
FGs:
20-29 yards: 9 of 9 made
30-39 yards: 5 of 5
40-49 yards: 6 of 7
50+ yards: 9 of 11
Total: 29 of 32 FGs made with a long of 60 yards and a 90.6% completions overall percentage.
Extra Points:
50 of 53 attempts made for a 94.3% total made.
78% of Maher's kickoffs were touchbacks. That's very good.

Sounds like Bones Fassel is the one who sucks.
lol. You've got a good point.According to the experts that post here all kickers suck. I love these kicking threads.

None of the 3 kickers were signed as of yet.
You give stats with great detail to support your stance/argument for his return, but you left out one very important stat:Brett Maher (2022) stats:

You left out one important detail...You give stats with great detail to support your stance/argument for his return, but you left out one very important stat:
-Brett Maher missed 4 straight extra point attempts in the NFC wild-card game against the Bucs; Making him the first kicker in NFL history to miss that many in a game since 1932.
The next game against the team that I hate more than any team in all of sports {the forty whiners} Maher had an extra point attempt get blocked; The execution of his kick was so poor that he would have missed it wide anyway. Granted he made 2 field goals, but it was easy to see that he was struggling MENTALLY. He lost his CONFIDENCE and that is a very serious problem to overcome.. I feel sorry for him because that dreadful day will always play back in his head.
