Twitter: Do the Cowboys have the worst home crowd in the NFL?

Atrophy:

Atrophy is the partial or complete wasting away of a part of the body.

Think of Jerry and his his liver - abuse of Johnny Walker Blue has caused his liver to atrophy.

Apathy:

Apathy, also referred to as indifference, is a lack of feeling, emotion, interest, and/or concern about something.
Thanks for the correction. That was the intended word yet "atrophy" is what was typed.

This isn't new. Back in the 80s they called us the "Wine and Cheese" crowd. because of how laid back we were. I remember being able to sleep through some games as a toddler in Texas Stadium.

I somewhat disagree. The crowd is plenty loud when the team isn’t an embarrassment.

Why get up on 3rd down when you know the defense can’t stop anyone lol
Thats exactly why. I went to Bills games when they were much worse than Dallas is now, and the crowd was still very much alive.

We all knew we weren't going to do anything this year. Why wouldn't the fans in the stadium know it? They were probably dealing with the fact they paid money to see it.

Granted, half the crowd is people staring at their phones or fighting, but still not worse than the Rams crowd. They have to yell "Who's House??" just to remind the fans where they are.

Al Michaels did comment on the lovely Art Work Jean Jones has stuffed into the Art Gallery for the wine & cheese fans

This. The Cowboys Are an accident waiting to happen every game. Hard to get excited about that.

My one game experience at the stadium, it was really hard to tell if my yelling was making any difference.

The shear size of void we were yelling into made it feel pointless.

There is a decibel meter on the score board but there is nothing to tell if the effort is working?

Straight up bro, I thought the same thing. Last year I went to two games back to back, Sunday night Philly at home and KC on Thanksgiving. The stadium was off the hook, loudest I've ever heard, It was off the hook insane! I've been to half the stadiums in the NFL, that's the loudest I ever heard (I've never been to Seattle or Denver etc). They have nothing to cheer about right now...that's a disgusted crowd

Been to the death star once 3 years ago. Close game vs Houston. It was loud at times but from the nose bleeds theres distractions. Mostly the video board. Went to arrowhead a few years ago when they played kc at it was the complete opposite. Zero distractions in that stadium and it was very very loud. As much as I hate the cheifs, their fans are very into the game and know when to crank up the volume. They also know when they are being sold a bill of goods that are sub standard and they let their voice be known. I can remember the pre Andy Reid days and how they planned and carried out mass exits during the games and wore all black in protest of some of the decisions that the front office was making. They put pressure on the hunt family financially to make change and the rest is history. Now they are supposed to be moving to Kansas into a new stadium and I'm sure the hunts will follow the recent model of PSL's. Not sure if the environment will be the same once the common fan is priced out of tickets. I wish them luck but I still wont be a fan.
