It's an event not a football game. Completely different atmosphere.

I haven't been to a game since 2011 and it was a circus back then. I imagine it's probably worse now.

This isn't new. Back in the 80s they called us the "Wine and Cheese" crowd. because of how laid back we were. I remember being able to sleep through some games as a toddler in Texas Stadium.

I can only comment on what I see on TV, but the crowd does appear to be low energy.

Thats exactly why. I went to Bills games when they were much worse than Dallas is now, and the crowd was still very much alive.

We all knew we weren't going to do anything this year. Why wouldn't the fans in the stadium know it? They were probably dealing with the fact they paid money to see it.

Granted, half the crowd is people staring at their phones or fighting, but still not worse than the Rams crowd. They have to yell "Who's House??" just to remind the fans where they are.

DFW is by and large a wealthy city.

This. The Cowboys Are an accident waiting to happen every game. Hard to get excited about that.

My one game experience at the stadium, it was really hard to tell if my yelling was making any difference.

The shear size of void we were yelling into made it feel pointless.

There is a decibel meter on the score board but there is nothing to tell if the effort is working?
