Evans is a tackling machine but poor at coverage.

That's not an issue for this team as we have a player like Cox who excels in that area, but struggles as a run defender.

Why do many see Thomas as a hybrid player? He is strictly a free safety and not an inside the box player. Bell is the one people should be more talking about.

Question is, are they comfortable playing either backup in a starting role if either starter goes down? I don't think they are, which is why I believe a veteran will be signed.
