Do we dare entertain this

I think Tyron's demise is over exaggerated. Did he have a few bad moments this season? Sure, but so has every other left tackle in the league. Smith at 80% is still better than most left tackles in the league.

You think?

This is a fan boy who thinks he knows something. Every GM in football would laugh at him right now.

Because of a few offsides penalties, I think some here have undervalued what Tyron did this year.
He was very good.

But, it would be hard to get a 1st due to his injury history and contract anyway

Yeah he set the bar super high in his first years.

So whenever his run blocking declines a tad, and he incurs a uncharacteristic amount of penalties(many were bull****) it takes many of us by surprise.

Looking back Tyron was probably underrated at just how elite he was.

They swapped firsts in that deal.

The Buffalo Bills have agreed to trade left tackle Cordy Glenn to the Bengals, a source informed of the situation told NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport. Good Morning Football's Peter Schrager reported Buffalo and Cincinnati are swapping first-round picks, moving the Bills up to No. 12 and the Bengalsback to No. 21. They're also swapping fifth- and sixth-round picks, with Buffalo moving to No. 158 and Cincinnati dropping back to No. 187, per Rapoport.

I stand corrected thank you sir

Got to say it's a breath of fresh air to have a poster make a thread, get feadback that isn't all agreeing with him but yet doesn't instantly turn everything negative. Kudos.

I'm logical man ..I'm all about throwing ideas around others just to get the blood flowing and out of the box thinking ...much appreciated

I say we instead trade Dak, our second round pick, Irving and a carton of Marlboro to the Giants for their 1st round pick.
No to diss any of the players, but just going by what I think I know of the Giants FO, pretty certain they would not make that trade.

Hey, who wants to trade our 20 something franchise LT for a 1st round pick so we can have a much lesser player there and a pick that will give you almost no chance to get back to where you were at the position in the foreseeable future?

Do we dare entertain that?

Absolutely not!

I agree. They can just take the best available in the draft if TB doesn't. I was somewhat joking.

I'm not for trading any offensive lineman. In fact, I'd be for drafting another in the 2nd round if a good one is still on the board.

Oh, that would go over like a bad fart but I would be open to it.

Says the clown w 77k post on a fan forum..who's the real fan boy ...
Go play somewhere kid

We are all "fan boys" sitting at our computers. "We" cannot entertain anything personnel-related since we are not the Cowboys.

Anyway, you do not trade away your franchise LT for a draft pick.

Trade a top 5 tackle for a first round. What exactly are you taking in the first round? Why would you create a hole on an already suspet position unit?

We had a 2019 first round draft pick and elected to take a WR with it. It was a find decision and will roll later. That decision already means borrowing against our future cap, trading Tyron would just make that worse.

Nope.
Trade smith for a first
Use first for his replacement and pray he’s as good
Doesn’t seem like a good plan to me
