Do we get a QB this off-season?

I think it will depend on what Drew Henson does in NFLE.
If he goes over there and shows the moxie and play making ability he showed at Michigan we'll stand pat. If he kinda flounders around and looks like a mediocre player over there we'll likely add someone at the position.

Being down a couple of picks due to last season's trades and having limited cap cash considering all the holes we want to fill I am just not sure QB of the future will rate real high on the priority list.

I do not want to witness another season with Drew under center. I think he's a great guy but his limitations are glaring. He makes bonehead decisions even with time to through.
You are almost guaranteed to do so tho. No sense in even sweating it because that isn't going to change unless Drew gets injured.

Both coach and owner are big time on board with Drew as it seems is the team as a whole.

I wish we could draft Vince Young or trade for Carson Palmer but we are just gonna have to try to win with Bledsoe.

Well, welcome to my world, but I gurantee you, Bledsoe will be starting, unless there is an injury, and we will be hearing again this time next season, how Bledsoe needs better protection :D

Draft VYoung or get Palmer, ha that would never happen. I was thinking maybe a 3rd round QB or maybe Cutler if he dropped to us, something like that. Jacobs is he list until 3rd maybe.

I really wonder if the Jets tried to get Romo and what they we're willing to give. It would give us an idea of what other bfolks thought of our backup.

That being said, I think my answer to the question is...No.

Or the position most likely to steal the spotlight.

Not a psychiatrist, I just play one on a forum.

Steal the spotlight or steal control? I think one reason that Parcells resists the big name QB thing is that a QB more than any other position can actually have some influence in the organization. (See Peyton Manning versus Jim Mora; and John Elway versus Dan Reeves). Parcells is a control freak and a bus driver just drives his bus, and he can get another one if this one doesn't work out.

I'll give you another example of a similar personality in this regard.

You ever wonder why such an offensive guru such as Steve Spurrier placed such a low emphasis on who actually pulled the trigger on his offenses? Because he too is an egomaniac and a control freak.
