a lot of times the past couple of years (in goalline situations), we would play action on first down and jeff robinson would usually be wide open every time. How come we don't play action as much on 1st down anymore?? I say get Dan Campbell or Sean Ryan in there and try it once in a while

You mean the guy who retired because the Rams didn't play him at all?

Anything. Absolutely anything but putting in Spears and/or trying to pound it in right up the gut. I'd even take a naked bootleg....with Bledsoe.

Bring him back.

Can't. I believe he's already filed the paperwork with the league.

Geez....last time I retired all I had to do was say "I quit".

We miss that play call.

I find it hard to believe that there isn't another player on the team that can run that play.

Seriously, how many play actions to the tight end have we ran inside the 10? The only one I can think of was to Witten against the Giants in the first meeting.

Rich...........

give Payton a call and tell him... I have some ideas myself if you can get through...

Seattle game would have helped big time with that call...

They should line up Spears as a FB and then have him block and then slip out to catch a pass.

He used to be a TE so he is somewhat used to catching a pass.

hmmm, that may not be a bad idea after all...

i think that peyton is setting up the playaction pass at the goal line for the later part of the year, so that teams don't expect it as much.

anything that adds a wrinkle to the predictable "spears in at FB..... julius/barber/rowdy off larry allen's right hip... and submarined/torpedoed/stonewalled for a loss of one...."

zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz......
