Awuzie has played bad in 10 straight gams now.How much better would this defense be with two byron Jones's? Byron Gave up one catch to Julio today. The other was in zone.

Not high. Jourdan Lewis is still around. X. Woods can play slot CB too. Also, still have some season left for Chido to get right.

Time for Richard to coach up #24 on press footwork and hand placement, how to get his head around to see ball, and improve his break (seems to have regressed). Chido's technique is getting him beat.

J Lewis is not a starter. He’s 5,10 and runs 4.54, which means if anyone gets a step on him, he’ll never recover.

JD is always on the hip, excellent transition, real sticky. Chido runs a 4.4 and is constantly behind WRs cause of transition. AB runs a 4.3, but gets behind at outside CB.

Speed doesn't tell the whole story at CB. If a CBs technique is trash IDC if he runs a 4.1 he's toast.

J Lewis played ok last year like Lewis played ok “ last year”. You saw what the lions did to him this year. He’s a reserve. He should never start. No one that runs that slow, should ever be under 6’. An elite qb will destroy him with accuracy. They’ll throw it over him. It won’t matter how tight his coverage is. Scandrick had tight coverage, but could’ve cover jump balls or big receivers.

Technique helps, but being slow and under sized is a weakness. He will never ever be a starter unless he plays 90% zone.

He started last year like 13-14 games, and was DAL's CB1. Also, he excels at man coverage. #27 isn't a player you can generalize w/ combine numbers...dude is unique.

He’s not. That’s why he lost his job to Byron.

There’s a reason the coach that coached the legion of boom doesn’t start him and barely plays him. It’s not just height. If he covered so well, they’d see it in practice. He’s slow and short. That’s life.

I wouldn't be surprised if they trade J. Lewis to move up in the draft and I would expect them to draft another corner if that's the case. He just doesn't fit in this scheme. A corner that's on the rise and would be a great addition here is Kris Boyd(Texas) but you would probably have to get him with your second round pick.

It's only his 2nd season & he got beat by Julio who is the Bst Wr in football..Byron is in 4th season ..

Awuzie has seemingly struggled at times but on that specific play he couldn't have played it much better.

That ball literally dropped in inches from his helmet (he was playing Jones that tight) and Julio just made a great grab.

I think fans forget the other guys get paid too.

The Cowboys should draft a CB every year.

The only question is, which round.
Yes.

but also, get better safeties. A CB like Awuzie, who knows he going to be targeted because he plays opposite Byron, needs to know he has safety help every once in a while. Our safeties either by design or by lack- of ability, never get over in time to help.

No worries, Earl will be back there next season.
