Do we need to start thinking about Zeke's work load?

We're halfway through the season and it looks like Dallas is going to be in it for the long haul so do you think we should start giving Morris a few more touches? Especially against the scrub teams like Cleveland left on our schedule?

At some point i'd imagine he will hit a wall. He's never had to push himself for this long and the grind of the NFL is bound to catch up with him a little at some point.

I want Zeke ready to go in January. Anyone else slightly concerned?

He definitely looked gassed against the Eagles at times. Need to be smart with him for sure. Once we have a nice cushion give him a series off or two, that's why we have Morris.

Not worried. This is what we got him for.

Plus, he's really not taking a lot of big hits.
He's been giving more hits then taking them. I think in Cleveland if we have a big lead then I wouldn't mind seeing a little bit more of Alfred Morris. Basically not just Cleveland but any team if we're up on them I'd like to see Morris in the garbage time scenarios. No sense in risking injury or wearing him for garbage. The problem with us is every game that we've played has been intense from start to finish. My heart can't taker it. Neither can my voice with all the screaming. This weekend I'm looking forward to a nice relaxing blowout win over Cleveland.

My blood pressure will thank you

I'd look at running Morris more in this game given how we should beat Cleveland.

They did last game for some unknown reason.

That was more about bad playcalling than it was anything else.

He still got his touches but we got pass happy for some reason and got away from the east and west passing game against a team we could've exposed had we used it.

I'm torn. On one hand I want to ride him every down but I do get the keep him fresh for the playoffs concept
Looks like they want to keep him around the low 20's in carries

Yes. From now until he is in his 2014 Demarco Murray use him up because we don't want to resign him year.

Nature of the position.

You can keep sayign this but it doesn't make it true.

Not worried.. you'd be concerned if he WASN'T getting atleast 20 carries per game. It's why we drafted him so high and our philosophy. I think game situations are dictating a few more carries. To the OP's point, I would like to see Morris get a few more carries. There was no excuse when we were icing the GB game.

I'm sure he'll let us know when he's full.

Nope! 21 years old and IMO need to use him more. He's the most dynamic weapon in football, and I don't want to hear about Johnson and Bell, etc! The dude can do anything. He is the MVP IMO.

The playcalling before halftime was dog ****.
You can keep saying this but it doesn't make it true.

This is poetic justice. Before last week you were the guy harping about how great the play calling was and how Linehan suddenly learned to coach and call plays after 20 years as a professional.

I simply reminded you that players were simply executing like we were the last time Linehan suddenly learned to call plays in 2014 (he forgot in 2015 magically). You weren't having it. You hemmed and hawed and ranted and raved and said Scott was different! You were sure of it!

Then last week when players stopped executing (hint: Dak had accuracy and decision making problems) suddenly play calling was dog manure. Funny how that works.

You sir simply don't know what you're talking about. You're either incapable, haven't studied enough, are suffering from a serious case of confirmation bias or more likely all of the above.

Play calling was not the problem Sunday. Execution was. More specifically Dak's lack of execution .

Deal with reality.
