You nailed it too, albeit turnovers killed us in that game however I find it pretty amazing that we can turn the ball over 4 times and still be in the game with a team most consider a top 3 contender.

For a bright guy, Steve Young really struggles to articulate his thoughts. Sometimes he makes some insightful comments, but a lot of times he sends off this aura, all while trying to string together a sentence of: "Ugh, I'm so smart. Why can't you guys just get it?"

Not to mention he has funny (bad) hair.

Steve Young was pretty critical of us last night following the game.

A little too much, I thought.

We have one of the best rushing attacks in the league, a good offensive line and a plethora or passing targets.

As usual, I think we're a smidge pass heavy, but the passing game will only get better as Roy Williams, Martellus Bennett and Miles Austin get reps with Tony Romo.

We did not deserve to beat the Giants, our QB played terrible, call it a bad bounce if you want to live in denial but if that pass to witten is where it is supposed to be the int does not happen, and our defense folded again in that game. Honestly we did not play superbly against Carolina but we did deserve to win.

This team is better than the NY Game but not good enough to be 3-0, too many mistakes. We have the potential but still can not play mistake free football (or closer to), that is why we are 2-1.

Our offense will be fine, and as long as Garrett and Romo stay CALM and don't try to light up the sky with passes we could do great things. They have not been able to refrain from doing so in the past several years at times. Maybe they are learning, Im starting to think so, especially after Romo's press conference last night. Although what jason was thinking on the 2 and goal plays was beyond me, even wade knew something was wrong with that...

All that to say, stats don't give you any points in the standings but they do indicate potential, our team has had a ton of potential here lately, nobody can deny that, its putting it together, maturing, and learning how to play when it counts, thats what this team has lacked...looks like they will have another chance to work on it coming up. Should be, SHOULD be, 5-1 coming out of the bye.

I totally agree, most times I highly respect his comments, and then he says something like he did Monday night.

It makes me wonder if these guys just read whats on the teleprompter when it is their turn to speak and will pretty much say anything the writers put up their ala "Anchorman".

But, but, but... that can't be right... we suck! Our offense sucks! Tony Romo sucks! Jason Garrett sucks! You must have your numbers wrong! We are 0-3 and have been blown out in every game, especially by the mighty Giants who crushed us by 50 points when Eli threw for 500 yards and 8 TDs while Romo threw 10 INTs and threw up on the field when Eli came within 50 feet of him. It's a good thing we don't play the Stealers this year or Romo would spontaneously combust as soon as Roethlisberger the Mighty landed at DFW.

Way to go posting fcts when all these nimrods want is fiction.

People listen to the mediots who have their own agenda and come away with a lot of crazy ideas about how bad this team is. The truth is we are 2-1 and barely lost to the Giants when our DEFENSE couldn't stop them on their final drive.

Our offense has been clicking so far. Romo was the highest rated QB after week-1 and our running game has produced 200+ yards the last two weeks against good defenses. Romo struggled some against the Giants but it was our defense that was the weak sister in that game.

Are we where we want to be? Of course not. We need to score more TDs when we are inside the 10 yardline and get our deep passing game on track a little more but we are pretty darn good and can play against anyone right now. We get our passrush going and our defense will be tough to pass against too.
