With 5 games to go in the regular season and the NFL landscape this year apparent and the Cowboys almost certainly headed for a playoff berth, I think it's a good time to take your temperature.

How are you feeling? Are you in or out?

Emotionally everybody's in but what does your mind say? Will they make a run? A run being at least an NFCCG appearance. Or is this the same movie with the same ending?

Does this year just feel different?

I don’t think we win the Super Bowl. But I do think will win more than one game in the playoffs

While I think this defense is different than years past we don't have a leader like Micah on the offense. The defense still made us question them against Green Bay and their holes in the run game. The competition that they will face in the playoffs of probably Tampa, Philly and San Fran is pretty tough.

Feel like they’re good. Not sure the draw will not affect their results. Reminds me of 2014 a bit in that a tie meant they played an extra game and went on the road to Green Bay.

The Green Bay loss brings back all the bad vibes you get from this team.

I can't trust them to beat Tom Brady in the playoffs.

You can say we have the defense, we have more playmakers, Tyron is back, blah, blah, blah.

But I have to SEE it

I think this is our year! Too many weapons in all facets of the game, Big Mike has been down this road, in theory that's a plus.

Intangible: I also think we get some help or at least not hurt and slapped around as much by our friends in stripes. The great and powerful man behind the curtain has already made the call.

No because this team is cursed. Something will give in the playoffs. Be it Dak, the coaching, or the defense. It never fails. Especially if we face the Eagles or 49ers. We’ll be doomed.

I have come to the conclusion that regular seasons are what cowboys are best at. I will believe in this team when it actually happens in post season. I want to see them succeed in post season.
