Excuses.... Giants lost Umenyiora and Burress yet they are still Rolling. Patriots lost Tom Brady(a HOF QB) for Christ sakes yet they finished 11-5. Wade staying is fine. But Garrett and Stewart staying is laughable.. Garrett is in over his head running a offense. Teams have figured him out. Stewart just collects a paycheck i mean what the hell does he do???? We all know Wade took over the defense.

I don't understand the Stewart thing either.

I hope it's Wade not just being exceptionally loyal to his man. I thought it was Wade having to get involved in running the defense because Stewart wasn't getting it done.

Jason is the problem and not Wade. The offense has failed this team the last two years. If they will make Jason change and run the ball and not be predicatable then we have a chance. We have the players if they'll play.

Why do we want them back? The HC has lost the team. The Offensive Coordinator is being out coached week after week; opposing teams have figured out our system.

Defensive Coordinator is a joke and has been since training camp. He is nothing more than a position coach.

Really, because the offense, when led by Romo this year, performed at almost the exact same level as it did last year.

I do agree with what Wade said in his conference today that we will run the ball more next season with our 3 quality RBs.

This should help Romo tremendously, plus it should help us down the road in December with more difficult weather conditions, and ultimately it should also help the defense (i.e., ball control).

Plus, we do have 3 very good RBs. And both Witten and Burnett can block. Burnett should only improve as a blocker.

Garrett isn't going anywhere unless he gets a head job.

Let's hope someone out there is as dumb as Jerry...

Wasn't it Romo leading it last year?

The only difference is Sparano is gone, so Garret is on his own for the first time.

Yeah? You mean when the Giant's lost Burress and proceeded to have a late season meltdown, losing 3 of their last 5 games? They kept on rolling so well that the scored 20 or fewer points in all three of those losses.

The Pats did lose Brady and they had a competent backup. We had Brad Johnson and Brooks Bollinger. Do you think any coordinator in the league would have had success with them?

I was saying, if you take out the games when Romo didn't play this season, then the offense was nearly identical in every statistical measurement.

Actually Bennett was the best blocking TE on the team, at least this season.

Then it wasn't very good either year.

When it mattered most, the offense couldn't deliver.

Also, the teams we played had injuries too. Most of the high salary guys were on the field during the last four games...very few earned their pay.

Oh, I thought you were being sarcastic. Because otherwise you're nuts. We didn't mortgage the farm for Good Roy Williams because we were still a top 3 offense in the league.

Rule #1.... there's more to winning than stats my friend. Last year we were 13-3 this year we were 9-7 and missed the playoffs. That's a 4 game fall and most likely the mst disappointing team in the league. 9-7 is the stat u have to look at.

This year: Romo fumbled much more often and in key situations. Romo couldn't find an open receiver. Owens has lost a step. One injury to our offensive line creates anarchy there. Felix jones was injured and there was no real backup threatfor Barber.

Coaching was the worst I ve seen it in quite a while. That shotgun running has got to go! You dont bank on the run from the shotgun formation. And in that Eagles game.... Garrett should be bi%ch slapped for lining up in a shotgun formation on 3rd and 1. What the hell's wrong with him? The D Coordinator has GOT TO GO! He's just plain horrible.

Want a fix? Jerry has to get out of the way and let some good football people come in and "Take Over" otherwise we are sadly in for a long wait.

Whatever happens, there has to be changes made. Hell, even Oakland got better. We just continued to decline as the season went on.

An Eagle fan wrote on another thread how disappointed he was in Dallas losing to Philly, because he wants Reid and McNubb and others OUT OF THERE. He was lamenting the fact that, because the Eagles won, and in such strong fasion, that he wish for a new regime will not come to pass.
I believe him. I also don't blame him. But I do believe he was sincere. Many in Philly have been calling for their heads for a couple years now, and all yesterday did was probably buy that leadership team another year.
I gotta' admit...............I felt a lot of that same thing even before yesterdays debacle. I was clear to me that even if we did win yesterday, unless some Christmas miracle occured with this team, that we weren't going anywhere in the playoffs anyway.
No way this team goes five games without shooting itself in the foot. It's been going on all year so you don't need to be an expert Vegas-odds-maker to figure it out. Dallas, beginning with the Raven game, needed to "win-out" or else. That's two final games, three playoff games and the SB. It's 100% certain that some stupid off-sides, another phantom snap from center, a blown coverage in the secondary, or another Romo-adventure would have brought another loss.
I'm glad the bleeding is at least stopped and the fork is stuck in it already, because this season, more than any I could remember, was utter torture and heartburn.
And, like the Eagle fan I mentioned above, the dark side of me was actually hoping to end this season, lose, and therefore expidite a changing of the gaurd. But it appears that, until Jerry can find some other duffus/lackey to abide his wishes, that we're stuck with this gaggle of Keystone Kops.
Its enough to make me, after 44 years, start following a "sane" organization like New England. This sorry organization is a hell of lot closer to Al Davis and the Raiders than it is to the Giants, Colts or Patriots.
It's embarrassing already.....................

Man, I so feel your pain and that Eagles fan's. It's a hard place to be when the team u love refuses to do anything but waste 3 hours of your Sundays. time we will never get back. It is indeed enough to cause me to lose interest. And this is coming from a guy who made it thru 1989 easily. In those days you saw progress. I've seen no progress since Jimmy quit other than a short stint with the Tuna. I am nearing the end of my rope with this team's management and therefore this team. and Tony Romo is a freakin choke artist.

Can yu believe that crap. BOTH coordinators coming back along with the head coach? Did the team just over-perform or under-perform? This is true insanity. What is Cowboys Managment thinking?

Well since you asked, Cowboys Management is thinking...

"I, well we um, liked those three Super Bowls, and continuity is important, such as, well, like when I fired a back to back Super Bowl champ coach because continuity at that position, visa vie, i.e., etc., por ejemplo, Dexter Clinkscale, how do you like how they tightened my face skin over my cranial chamber, Nate Newton, well, time for Wapner".
