Do you fear a Giants superpower rising in the East?

This is a big offseason for them. They were a bit more competent this season. Their dline I thought would be better than it was but still they won’t be any pushovers anymore provided they get the coaching hire right.

I actually may not fear the Giants, that's too strong a term. But the pendulum is swinging different. I can see it, and sense it. They might win 6-7 games in 2026 but won't be as bad as they been. I guess now I respect them and can't totally dismiss them anymore. They have too much talent. Young team on the rise. We had better get going now, hit the ground running. Put the work in getting this team right. Shotty was right making the firing expeditiously. Waiting had zero benefit. I'm pretty sure this didn't happen this quick unless our hc has a damn good idea who he wants.

If they had started Dart against us the first game we would’ve never gotten our false hopes up the rest of the season and if Nabors wasn’t injured the second game would’ve been a much bigger blowout.
Idc about NYG, honestly they can be good, it’s Philly I loathe. The city, the fans, deplorable

First two were misses.
Rodgers was a money decision. Can’t pay everyone. They made the call to pay Baun, and it was a hit.
Saquon may just be having a down year. Jury still out.
AJ Dillon just a depth piece, no big deal, teams do that all the time
Green was a cheap shot in the dark, and unlike us, they cut bait fast.
The people replacing Huff are better.
Zadarius and Alexander retiring are not his fault, unless you think he’s Nostradamus
Bigsby was a quality depth piece signing, the kind we miss on too often
Gibson was depth
Metchie is a feel good story that didn’t work out, Carter is just depth.

Also, obtained Phillips, who has been very good for them.

The fact remains that despite half the starters missing time, and with a trash OC, he obtained enough depth to keep the team in double digit wins and in the playoffs, while we get to sit on the couch and watch those pricks in the postseason again.
Ok lol.

So if Jerry had this season would you grade him? And if Howie had the Cowboys season how would you grade him?

If Howie had the Cowboys this season, and he was the one that put the roster together, he would deserve every bit of criticism the fanbase gives him. The truth is that Roseman consistently puts together rosters that get into the playoffs and have won Super Bowls, while GM Jerry hasn't in thirty years. This is not even up for debate. The facts bear this out.

He sure does mention them alot.

Perhaps he lives in the enemies territory and hears about them ad nauseum?
I honestly don't know at this point if he is or isn't a giants fan. He sure knows a lot of details about their players, which is why people suspected him initially, I think.

Naw I’m saying what grade would you give Jerry if he made those same moves Howie made?

It’s the NFL today. If you have a strong front office they will usually make good decisions in hiring coaches and drafting well. Any team is a quick turn around if those things are in place. It’s why we have seen 30 years of mediocrity, poor front office.

Do you believe the Giants have that in place?

At this point, we should fear every team.

More than anything, we should fear the management of Jerry Jones.

His only real miss was Adoree “throw at me because I suck” Jackson. They started the year with four defensive starters out, and their first round pick Campbell is definitely a player. Their o-line played one entire game together due to rotating injuries. Their OC is so bad fans attacked his house. And yet they still won 11 games and in the playoffs.
Adoree has actually been good the last 6 weeks. He should have a good playoffs and we’ll likely re-sign him

No fear

Draft well...play well...iron sharpens iron as players are prone to say fo sound bites these days

Go Cowboys!
