Do you guys believe in superstitions, bad omens, etc.?

I've been a fan for many years and i still catch myself thinking of these silly things at times. I just wanted to know if i was the only one affected?


I guess you can just chalk it up to human nature as crazy as it is....lol!!

I know better and yet.....i still do it!

I have a pretty nice Seiko Watch the kids bought me, one year. It's one of those Cowboy Addition watches. Anyway, I've worn it a few times and every single time I wear it, we lose.

I don't wear that watch anymore. Bad Juju.

Not in superstitions, bad omens, good luck charms or rituals, ... but I do think there is something to that karma thing.

If you do bad stuff, bad stuff can happen to you.

If you are good to people, people will generally be good to you.

Is that karma?

Not really but if the Cowboys win or say I go out and have a great rd of golf I tend to do or wear the same thing I did that day. Logically I know this has nothing to do with it but why risk it. lol

Can't say I do, but I do think you need some luck to win a championship these days.

I've got a few quirks. 1) If we lose a game that I missed watching, I believe we lost because I missed the game. As if I could of willed the team to win. And, 2) This one is really weird. I have to breath in a certain pattern when we're on offense and breath in a seperate pattern when we're on defense. Weird huh? If either of these worked, we'd be unbeaten. But, I can't stop myself from doing them anyway.

I change jerseys if we are doing bad to change up the flow, or I wear the same jersey if we are on a winning streak..lol

I also watch ALL the highlights press conferences the week we win, we lose I don't watch anything til Thurs...

nice to see you guys coming clean...I knew i was not crazy by myself or i had hoped so.. it's all good. I think it's just the way most of us are wired for the lack of a better term.

Sometimes I can make the other team miss field goals if I concentrate hard enough. Doesn't always work though.

I don't believe in luck but I do believe in intuition. Unfortunately, intuition does not work well for predicting game outcomes.

My superstition is that we always win when I go to the actual game. My record is 8-0 ranging from when we had Aikman to Romo - even including some from the Quincy days. I've wanted to tell Jerry my theory about my luck and maybe he would give me a suite at the stadium.
