Since you think their wins are trash and nothing special, lets look at some of their games, shall we.
They beat Philly, you know, the team that made Garrett their "expletive" twice this year.
They beat the same Tampa team we did, only by the score of 48-3.
They beat the Lions, you know, the team that put Garrett in the record books for largest lead ever blown in the 51 year history of the franchise.
They beat Arizona, you know, the team that we lost to because Garrett iced his own kicker.
They also beat the team that came into our house and air humped the star on national tv, the Giants.
And if that is not enough, they also beat Pittsburgh by 17 points. So lets not try to claim their wins are only because they beat up alot of softies to try to cover for Garrett's inability to get the job done.
Oh goody, someone did some homework for a change and got a kudos from one of my loudest detractors. Nice job.
San Francisco beat the Cardinals in the early part of the season when they were stumbling, not in the latter part of the season when they beat us and then the 49ers on back to back weeks.
They beat a Steelers team that had a QB most felt should not even be on the field and that was minus James Harrison, their most consistent pass rusher.
They beat the Eagles in the early part of the season when everyone was beating the Eagles. Not everyone is beating them now and I would be glad to wager that they could not repeat it though I don't think you are silly enough to take that bet if it were possible.
They beat the Giants during the period when the Giants were beating themselves. Unfortunately they seem to have corrected that a little bit and are contending for the title once again, but haven't secured it yet and if we beat them as I suspect we will, they will have missed it.
They lost to us, a team that some of you yahoos are so convinced is horrible that really they should be ashamed to have lost to us, with a beat up QB coming out of the locker room to supply the heroics, in overtime, in their house.
I never said I disrespect the 49ers but I am admittedly a little less than impressed with the NFC West. In case you were unaware of it, the fact is that last year that division had the first ever sub .500 division champion.
They were a collective 25-39 last year, a whopping .391 winning % for the entire division. This year they are better ONLY because the 49ers have been a good football team, particularly on Defense. When this week is done the NFC West will be 30-34. Forgive me if I don't see this as a powerhouse division like you do. It is one team dominating a weak division.
Ooh, I am so impressed by that.
Bet you don't even get an ouch.
