Whoever he hired as DC isn’t going to make much difference unless we get better players. We’ve gone through a string of DCs and the defense continues to struggle. We need to clean out as many players on defense as we can and hope we have a good draft. It’s likely to take two or three drafts to fix the defense if we make most of the right moves.

Decent hire . We have a offense that can put up alot of points. Doing a complete turnover on defense last year and with Nolan was stupid. Now us going back to a 4-3 will be good for everyone on defense especially the linebackers.

We don’t need a top 5 defense. We need an average defense that can force a decent amount of turnovers.

I'm for it as long as he is allowed to have a 1tech that is drafted above the 4th round if he wants one. Tired of the UDFAs, 7th round guys at the position because the Jones boys couldn't care less about the position.

Allow him to build his defense up the middle like the Seahawks units...strong at DT, MLB and FS.

Can't be any worse than Nolan. It is a lazy hire, but can you ever count on the Cowboys to anything innovative with personnel? Skill players and name recognition. After that they have nothing.

Come on, man. McCarthy is among the highest tenured coaches in the NFCE. That is fact.
