Do you put much stock in OTA?

If you believe OTA are important. Then you should be very dissappointed that Glenn and Owens are not attending. Especially since they both will be receiving Bonus checks this offseason.

I'm more concerned about OTAs for rookies and young guys that need to learn the system. As far as TO and TG are concerned, I'm more worried about their health. Skip all the OTAs you want.

The players should be there. No excuses, they have had since January to relax and get affairs in order. I am keeping track, the people who say its no big deal are no longer allowed to make fun of the Commander and Giant posse who blow their teams off on a regular basis.

Romo has been practicing twice a week with his receivers (excluding Terrell because of the injury) during the offseason. Why does it matter that they're not practicing now? Is it because somehow practicing routes and timing in 7 on 7 is better than individually?

It's May.

Its going to be June in about 2 hours. Its about time to be getting serious.

I wonder what the players do when they decide to blowoff an OTA...do they hear the alarm and think "Screw it, I dont have to go to this, Im gonna sleep in and play Xbox all day..."

Learning a new offensive scheme and defensive scheme, to me dictates that everyone needs to be there as much as the can. This reeks of the crap that went on post Jimmy and pre Parcells.

I don't expect much from losers like Jones, but the rest of the guys mentioned, that disappoints me...

I wonder what they did last year when they didn't have any OTAs this time of season at all. We're getting more practice in than we have in the past and yet people are *****ing? Seriously, what the hell?

It's friggin' MAY.

It is different because of the new coaching staff. Personally, I think they need to be there.

Haven't you noticed the fact that everyone around here loves to pile on the Skins and Giants players that blow off the team, but as soon as our guys get complacent and lazy all of a sudden its no big deal?

The offense hasn't changed much. The passing games is actually easier now because of the numbered passing tree. I mean, for cryin' out loud, Terrell Owens already knows the whole playbook.

The defense is essentially the same scheme with some new wrinkles. Carpenter already said he knows what's going on and he's a 2nd year player that has been moved around constantly.

According to Ware, Spencer is already further along than he was in his rookie season.

Tony completed something like 90% of his passes during mini-camp and the first week of OTAs.

Where's the problem?

I didn't pile on them. I know some people did because it's easy to fall into the trick of reading "X player missed practice" and thinking it's a sin.

Knowing the reputation of the SOB, I don't want the same situations Dallas had here when, Switzer, and Campo where here. To much of a laid back attitude isn't good in my opinion. Hold them accountable and to me, that means going to OTAs

Did I say you did, or did you just include yourself into the 'some people' category?

There is really no excuse for this. These guys have the shortest season in pro sports, they have literally half a year to do whatever they want. You are telling me that Roy cant schedule his biscuit eating to a time that wont interfere with team activities? Guys like Roy are supposed to be leaders, they arent supposed to be blowing these things off. It just sends the message to everyone else that its okay to do.

What's it going to be then, eh?

You seem to know a great deal about the offensive and defensive playbooks and to what level our players have adapted. Can you share more details?

Really? February, March, April, May?

Oh wait, weight training begins in what? Late March?

February and early March? Half a year?

Wade has to really use this fact as reason to make training camp very tough and send a message that he is not going to be a push over coach. He has to get his players attention early in camp before he becomes another Campo. Well, maybe not that bad. But you get my meaning.

I will be the first to admit that I didn't agree with alot of what BP did as our coach. But, the players new who was the boss. Wade has to get that same message understood.

Um, yes. It's a point I've made repeatedly.

Had TO and friends shown up, the sheep would have been climbing over each other to emphasize the importance of these workouts. In other words, they're only important if certain players deem them important. TO blew it off, so they minimize its importance to protect his (bogus) image as a "team guy." Homey don't play that.

TO is TO... Terry is Terry, both are 33 and injured. I have less issue with them not being there.

The thing that bothers me most are players like Jones and Williams not being there. They need all the help they can get.
