Do You Think The Pressure Is On Green Bay Today?

If they lose Home Field Advantage is over and done for them and one of their 2 losses is to the Bears the other to us. They also have to be aware that Favre does not play well in Texas Stadium.

Even though we have played better on the road than we have at home this year, the NFC going through Dallas is huge IMO.

I have a feeling they will be a little tight today and Chicago will be extra motivated to play spoiler. I still expect Green Bay to gut out a win because they are the better team. But I wonder if they won't feel the pressure and choke.

We all know that Favre can throw INTs in bunches. Does the train come off the tracks today?

I surely hope so. The more rest our starters can get, the better.

Agree completely, Hos. There is pressure on them to keep up, and I think Chicago will put up a good fight. Wouldn't it be great if they pulled it off?

Funny, just a few minutes ago I saw Tom Waddle say he's thought for weeks that Green Bay was the best team in the NFC. Never mind that we played them just a few weeks ago. Oh well, I guess they'll waltz into Chicago and get an easy win, then kill some time until they beat us in the Championship game.

Thats funny... after we won yesterday thats what I thought. The pressure is on the Pack.

I will throw this in though.... Favre has never won at Texas Stadium and we havent won in GB, correct? So.... the law of averages concerns me...

I've seen a lot of the Bears this year -- that's a team that can beat anyone on any given day. They have a poor record but they aren't a bad team by any stretch.

Unfortunately the Bears are just not a very good team. I don't think the Pack will take them lightly, but they may steamroll them early.

As far as pressure goes... same amount of pressure as the Cowboys will face next week if the Packers win today.

Yes they are a bad team.

Terrible rushing team, horrible passing team, Defense is one of the worst in football.

the pressure is on, but I dont expect them to be tight. The bears with orton are not a threat to score alot of points and they are without briggs and possibly harris.

one thing for sure, devin hester can change your plans quick and he can make you play tight in special teams and that can be very big.

Urlacher will bring it.

Vikes will beat down the QB-less Skins. Your golf season starts today.

Quite possibly and I'm sure that the Bears will be extra motivated to F-up anything for the Pack. :starspin

puhleeze guys....these guys are not going to run a play and think OMG, we can't lose this game. The elements today will have a major affect on the game, not whether or not they have to win to keep up with Dallas.

What pressure could Green Bay possible have? They already have their division sewn up. they already have a first round bye. Guarantee, the Packers are not thinking about Dallas or ramifications of winning or losing. Only the fans of both teams are. 40 MPH freezing winds today will cause more worry for the Packers today than trying to keep up with the Cowboys...

yeah i agree. I think hos is just saying if the game is close late, are they going to sling it around or play the field position game and try to win a close one....

in a one posession game you never know the mindset.

I do think the packers should have no pressure though, Dallas is the team protecting home field green bay is just trying to get it.

Us having to go to washington is no treat. So with the already given up lions coming to town, the pressure is probably on dallas to win at washington.

I personally always think cold weather affects tackling first and passing second.

the packers throw alot of short stuff, and they are excellent running screens so i think they will be fine offensively.

i am not sure what the bears do well offensively? Maybe get the ball to olsen?

Your post is akin to "my life does not revolve around GB winning or losing(after you lost us...btw)... I still go home and kiss my wife".... blah blah blah....

GB DOES feel pressure to get that HFA throughout... THATS FOOTBALL. To get the best fair advantage. If you think for one second that McCarthy and Favre and company are not thinking about trying to get that NFC championship game at home.... well... then.... you should start knitting or something...
