Do you think we can beat the Saints?

This looks like the toughest game on our schedule. I think we can win it because I think our team is as good as any other team when it wants to be.

I'm sure I'll chime in with more than that later, but this should be a good thread for the optimists and the pessimists to do some good debating.

I think we can beat anybody.

If we lay off shooting ourselves in the foot. This team is good enough, talent wise to play with everybody in the league.

The San Diego Saints? Whatever happened to one game at a time around here?

One could argue that the only team to beat the Cowboys this year is themselves.

We can definitely beat the Saints, since we have the offense to run with them. I think it would be a win even if the game was close.

Much like the Giants vs the Patriots in 2007, the confidence lift you get when go toe to toe with the "best" team in football is huge. Even if you don't end up winning.

Deadskins almost did so I think we can too but maybe not in their house.

It really depends, we beat SD and we have a chance, if we lose to SD the collapse is on and it will be worse than the last time payton took us to the woodshed.

Can we yes, will we? No question the saints are a very good offensive team. I think if you can get good pressure on Brees you can force mistakes. I also think it is important when guys can't get there they need to give their hands up. I notice the skins were able to bat down quite a few passes of Brees, at 6'00 that is pushing it Drew is not one of the taller QB. No doubt Saints will make plays they are too good to stop them cold but if you can slow them down you have a chance at winning.

We can, but it's not likely. The players would have to bring their best performance and even then it may not be enough. The Saints are a very talented team. The o-line would definitely need to open up some running lanes, and Garrett would need to get Felix and Choice more carries and save Barber for the end.

Your right, SD is the most critical game right now. I think it is very important for Dallas to avoid back to back loses. A win keep us at the top of our division and with Philly and New York facing off we have a chance to get much closer to clinching a playoff spot.

Sure, it's possible, but I just can't see them getting it done. The Cowboys would have to play close to perfect in all phases of the game, and I don't think they've done that even once this entire year.

I believe when we are 100% dialed in, we can beat anyone. That Colts game 2 years ago is an example.

Once again, people talking about the Saints when the Chargers game hasn't happened. That is why we lost to the Giants. Stop jinxing the Cowboys with this crap.

:p:

This team is capable of doing it but they are also capable of losing to the skins the following week probably is you never know which cowboys you're going to get :banghead:

Rams nearly beat them as well. Saints have had a lot of lucky bounces this year. Bout time for their luck to run out.
