Do you think we even win the NFCE?

I'm going to say I don't think we win the NFCE. I hate to say that. But with our current leadership status, I think we fumble the division.

Thoughts?

Fumble implies we had it or have it. At no point this season did we have it in my opinion. I believe the cellar of the division is still up for grabs more so than the division crown is. The only thing that could change the Cowboys outlook IMO is if we developed a lethal pass rush (seems impossible) and we decide to embrace the very strategy we are built for relative to talent........ pass the freaking ball to set up the run and don't make apologies for it. We have a small chance of winning if Romo gets a hot hand and no chance if he doesn't. He can't get one if we don't throw early and often.

Nope. I do not believe they'll be in the playoffs.

I held out hope but that Saints game stomped me back to reality.

I remain hopeful, but my eye for reality says the Giants give us the thrashing they started in the season opener without all the gifts. I think the division goes:

1. Giants
2. Eagles
3. Cowboys
4. Commanders

But I change all of that if our defense figures out how to play and the offense scores 30 on Sunday.

No matter how it turns out it's obscene that the Giants could lose their first 6 games and still be in the running to win the division.

Yes. Best QB in the division (although he hasn't played like it lately) and we'll be healthier after the bye. Getting Philly AT HOME in Week 17 is huge.

Some of you are really overrating the impact of the Saints game. Why should I be scared of any other team in the division that we're 3-0 in?

We win the division if we win Sunday. Beyond that, who knows.

We still have a chance if we can get some guys healthy. The Giants game will be big, not just because it's a division game but think it will be an indicator of the direction this team is going.

Nope. And I don't want to win just to be one and done in the playoffs, either - I want whatever it's going to take for some real changes to happen at Valley Ranch.

If that means missing out on the NFCE, then, so be it. Just means we'll miss out on one extra game.

I still think we can win this division it would sure make me and I'm sure others feel more comfortable if we beat the Giants on Sunday. Winning that game, going 4-0 in the division and then coming home to face the Raiders to go 7-5 and regain sole possession of 1st place with 4 games left will make me feel a lot better about this division. Winning that Giants game means the worst we can do in the division is 4-2 and the Eagles have 2 losses in the division. In that case there is an outside chance if we are one game ahead of the Eagles going into that final game that game might not mean anything. I know I'm getting way ahead but it's an interesting scenario if we win these next two games. They wouldn't have the head to head or division record tiebreakers so the next in line would be common games and conference games.

I get the 3-0 division stuff but the Saints just abused us. 40 first downs. Unbelievable. Boys against men. It was just too easy.

This team is so unpredictable but ill say yes based on my overwhelming fandom.

I'd say we either make it or not. Unless we get hit my a large asteroid or a close enough gamma ray burst that is.

Best QB in the division right now is Nick Foles.

If we win out we go to the playoffs. If we only lose one more, we have a good chance at a wildcard.

And we definitely have a great shot at the division crown, so I'm not ready to declare anything until I see how this team plays vs NYG.
