you guys will feel better by Wednesday. I never liked Parcells offensive game plan when he was with the Giants. But it can be very effective with a strong O-line. I expect/hope the Cowboys will have a strong O-line next year.

They also need to strengthen the front 7 (mainly LBs) on the defense.

I don't. 3 years and the team isn't a whole lot better than when Campo left. It's better, but not better enough to make it a contender. If his name was Smith instead of Parcells, there'd be no chance he'd be back next year.
not better than when Campo left? You're kidding, right?

well he was the one who built the team though, and i have much more trust in him to build the team to win a SB than Parcells

This is his third team that faded throughout the season. He has yet to put the staff in place to take this team to the next level. He has done a good job of changeing the attitude at Valley Ranch and re-establishing professionalism and character.

I think it is probably time to bring in some fresh blood.

He's what, one game over .500 in his third season...time to move on.

As he once said to Darren Woodson, "No matter what you've done in the past, sooner or later you have to prove you can get the job done."

He hasn't.

Parcells still has my vote for at least one more year.

What is it with you people and all these "do you want Parcells back threads?" Of course I want Parcells back. He's the resson this franchise is back on course. This is a disgraceful performance today, but it is only one game. I'm not worried about Parcells ability to raise this team to another level. This Flozell Adams injury combined with the Jacob Rogers disaster and the non-use of Stephen Peterman has turned out to be devestating to the OL. Parcells will fix it in the offseason. After the Campo experiment I would think most of you would rejoice in having a real coach in place. Besides, who would your replacement be? I'm as frustrated as anyone about this game, but we really are a year away from serious contention and Parcells knows it. He's coming back to see it through. So give these Parcells should walk away/should be fired threads a rest. He'll be here next year so deal with it and be grateful. When he leaves it will be the Jerry Jones show again and we saw how chapter one of that act turned out. After a while these Parcells must go threads get ridiculous.

BP isn't perfect, but I like what he did with the D this past off-season and I'm looking forward to seeing what he'll do with the O this coming off-season. So, yes, I'll take another serving of BP, please.

I'm somewhat willing to give him one more year and I am far from a BP fan. I have been against the guy pretty much since that crap performance against Carolina in the 03 playoffs-but who are we going to get to replace him? Sure, I'd ship his azz to Detroit if Jimmy was coming back, but he's not.
