I get so sick of hearing this.. Barry was amazing to watch.. but jeez he got hit behind the line a lot.

If you needed 5 yards to win a SB who would you take?.. I would take Emmitt every single time.

I would take Emmitt's offensive line and put Barry behind it. That would address your knock on him. Lines being equal I think even most Cowboys fans would admit that Barry would have tons more yardage to set the record. It's not like Sanders paused behind the line like Le'Veon Bell used to, he was running for his life at times behind his. But if a lineman did break through there's no one on Earth getting you out of that situation better than Barry. But all we have are the what ifs and opinions so it is what it is.

Sanders quit early that is enough to disqualify him.
Also Emmitt was better than Sanders . Sanders would have 13 carries and get 23 yards then he’d rip off a 65 yard TD. Emmitt could control a game start to finish and he’s as a better blocker than Sanders.

I’d say Brady and Rice for the obscene level of absolute excellence for soooooo long, and LT for the reasons u mention. The last spot I’m unsure of.
