Does a interception hurt you if you throw it in the 1st half of games?

Unfortunately, cleverness is a gift, and not something one can be taught, so if censorship hampers one's ability to express himself, perhaps he needs to expand his vocabulary.

I think I'm pretty clever.
This was a response to someone calling out a 62 year old for using "duh"
as a comeback, or dis, or whatever.
The censorship has reverted us back to elementary school days at recess.
So, poop head or poopy head are now acceptable callouts.
And duh is code for no shhhhh... or dumb***.... lol

We need to work on a list of acronyms for the board... lol

I was in no way accusing you of being a dullard. I was referring to those whose best retort is "Duh", "Durr", an overly long string of laughing emojis, all caps, "If you don't understand that, I can't help you!", "Troll!", etc., etc., etc. Name calling, regardless of how benign it seems, is rarely clever.

It's interesting that the Cowboys lead the entire league in turnover differential.

In a positive way . I think I read where they will become the first defense since those great Steeler defenses of the 70’s to lead the league back to back years in takeaways

Nothing says "I'm a 13 year old mean girl" like the roll eyes emoji... lol

Interceptions almost always hurt.
But yeah, some more than others, of course.

There's one scenario that I can think of where they may not hurt and might even help.....
that's 3rd and very long and the QB has no one open for the first down, so he throws an ultra-deep contested pass that is picked, but results in giving the opponent the same or worse field position than a great punt.
The pick/punt...lol

In that case, you lost nothing but still had a prayer of getting a PI call or even a long TD.
It's actually a smart play

Also picks thrown into the endzone with nobody open on the last play of the game.
Forget the stats, it's better to give the team a chance (even if it's picked) rather than just throw it away and spar your personal stats.

Listening to the Eagles talking heads trash Minshew over that LATTIMORE. Late Xmas present is priceless ….supposedly AJ Brown was trying to get Gardner to audible out of the play as LATTIMORE knew what was coming pre snap .

Cowboys Eagles 49ers

1 . 2. 3. In Turnover differential . Two will win a division one will be top wildcard . Yes turnovers are Very much a part of who wins or losses .

Genuine question. I know the simple answer is yes. Or it typically would be. But what's interesting about Dak's interceptions is that he's throwing them in the 1st half of games and he's ending games throwing at a 70% completion rate with 2 or 3 touchdowns. All in the midst of the defense getting a few turnovers a game.
Can this team afford for Dak to throw a interception if its going to put up 27 to 30+ in the playoffs?
Would rather have Dak making the early mistake, 4th quarter picks are nails in the coffin.

The last time they had 12 wins in back to back seasons, they won the Super Bowl.
