Black licorice and black jelly beans are what I refer to as the original old fart candy. Candy should taste like candy not cough syrup.

So I am eating a box of Jujyfruits candy. Everything is going well; enjoying the various fruity flavors; life is good. Then I reach for another and eat what I think is grape flavored candy. Much to the demise of my taste buds, it wasn't grape at all; it was that nasty, musty-tasting black licorice! I hate this stuff with a passion!!! Why is this even considered candy, and does anyone actually like this stuff?
