Yeah. The kid doesn't know how to play football, but when Jim Garrett comes to you telling you he's the best athlete he's ever seen, you **** listen. The guy has been scouting athletes for what, 30 years?

Learning football is way easier than building up someone physically.

"Hey. Lowber. Just run down the sideline and catch the ball when I throw it to you."

The kid is fast and quick enough to do that ****.

surely hes fast. but speed isnt everything. throw a speedster into a soccer field and let him play. i'll just kick the ball down field and he'll get it right? and score everytime. well it doesnt work like that, same goes for football.

but...also i'm not saying he wouldnt of done anything here in dallas either...

Not even a little bit. The guy can't play, plain and simple.


Sure he's athletic, but that doesn't make him a good football player. He has a LONG LONG ways to go before he's ready to play in an NFL game. Fact is we had other, younger WRs on the roster that are already ahead of him and have more time to develop.

not one bit, but i do hope he finds his way back to our practice squad in a couple of weeks, when our regular backups return. a guy like mike jefferson is nice, but he has no upside, aka potential. if i am gonna groom someone for next year, then i want someone like lowber.

You don't know anything about the guy but what you've seen on Hard Knocks - which really isn't anything - and that screams HoF? He's fast. Randal Williams was fast. Alexander Wright was fast. Lots of guys are fast.
