Okay. Seems like no one knows exactly how the supplemental draft works. We’ll find out next year when we see what pick is forfeited.Dallas31 said:i'm not exactly sure of the order in the supplemental draft, but i know that it IS NOT the sam exact order of the April draft.
Adam, based on this it means that Cincy used their own 22nd pick of the 3rd round not made a trade. Correct?AdamJT13 said:A weighted lottery is used to determine the draft order of the supplemental draft. The 32 teams are divided into three groups -- six wins or less, more than six wins and no playoffs, and the playoff teams. For the lottery, each team gets "tokens" based on their original first-round position in the regular draft (ie., Houston gets 32, Pittsburgh gets 1, etc.). The tokens (there are 528 total) are then drawn to determine the order within the three groups.
Here was the order than resulted from the lottery, broken into the three groups, with the number of tokens each team had --

1. San Francisco (27 tokens)

17. Kansas City (13)
18. Minnesota (16)
19. Atlanta (18)
20. Dallas (15)
