Does anyone miss the old Jerry?

The old Jerry that didn't hesitate to make a big move, not this Jerry that listens to Stephen and whomever else gets to him to make him think at the last minute. I realize that age is also an issue. Please give your thoughts, old Jerry we miss you!! Think of the talent we could have assembled if we had the old Jerry, or even someone Jerry put in place to do the things he USED to do!!

The old Jerry knew he wasn't a football guy and acted accordingly by delegating authority to those who were football people. Jimmy Johnson was the defacto GM in the beginning.

The new Jerry now thinks he's a football man because of the Herschel Walker trade and the good fortune of hiring Jimmy.

Only two explanations make sense:

1. Incompetence
2. They care more about money

I miss him and thise days, because we didn't have a certain zoner starting threads and asking for our thoughts every 10 minutes.....just stirring the pot and adding spices over and over again. Probably, sitting back and enjoying a good laugh at all the bickering that je is causing.

Which old Jerry?
Before the salary cap of after the first few years of the salary cap?

Or the Jerry that hired Bill Parcels?
Certainly not the Jerry that hired Garrett.

Jerry was bad then too, just bad in a different way. No doubt Stephen has an influence on Jerry but I am not sure how that will play out this year. Who knows, maybe Jerry is blaming Stephen's cheapness for why he is getting so much criticism this year.
