Dont you think Romo and Garrett have a much better chance this time around for many reasons already gone over?

I dont see anyway things wont get better.

Im interested in differing opinions, just make them original.

What have we addressed, exactly?

Have we addressed OL depth? Possibly, but I remain unconvinced.

Have we addressed having a brutal December schedule? Nope. This year it's @NYG, SDC, @NOS, @WAS, PHI. I expect us to perform worse in December than in Sep-Nov, just for that reason.

Have we addressed a run defense that was gashed at the end of last season? The early returns aren't so promising.

I expect the Cowboys to have a strong year, 10-6, possibly 11-5. But I expect most of that to be built up in the first 11 weeks and for December to be weaker because of the strength of the competition. Needless to say, the media will look at a poor December record and use it to indict the character of Romo or the team.

Yes, we can realistically see a 7-0 start. Then Philly, GB, and Skins... a break with the Raiders on Thanksgiving... then the brutal Dec-Jan portion mentioned above.

I have no idea if things will change.

But I'll watch anyway.

Romo seems focused....I think the team will be.....

I'll believe they won't collapse in December when I see it. They don't get the benefit of the doubt again, until they finally prove they deserve it.

It doesn't seem fair if Dallas is criticized if they finish the season 2-3. The schedule makers didn't do us any favors with possible losses @NYG, vs. SD, @WAS or vs. PHI. Even @NO could be dicey.

Last year was an utter collapse because the team fell apart after the PIT victory was snatched from them. We had beat NYG at home and were poised for victory in PIT. Had we held onto the PIT game, I think we destroy BAL to close out Texas Stadium and maybe drop the game @PHI since the Eagles finished the season on a roll. Still, we'd have been 3-1.
