That's how it is in here. It still amazes me how people can talk and make threads like these about a NFL player....its the NFL. This is astory we've seen time and time again. Every team goes through it. Its not a lack of "heart" or "took the money and ran...". The guy has hammy problems and he and Romo aren't on the same page. He's probably gone next season but as of right now he's a Cowboy and he's another option for Romo out there.

It seems like an emerging trend on this team. Get your big paycheck and then phone it in for the rest of your career. It is getting old and fans have a right to complain about it.

Seriously. If anyone with a red name is reading this, if this isn't Rant Zone material someone's not doing their job.

Why are you so sensitive about criticism of Austin? And why would you want this buried in the rant zone?

Its a league-wide problem. Every team goes through it. That's why a Ed Reed is cut. That's why a Anquan Boldin is traded right after a Super Bowl run. That's the NFL.

Yes this problem isn't specific to just miles Austin.

Bottom line is that it was a bad extension. One of many by Jerry. This is one reason why were stuck at .500

I agree to an extent. I personally felt Miles needed to be re-signed. He was still young and he was coming off a Pro Bowl. The Roy Williams and Jay Ratliff contracts were more along the lines of what I had problems with.

Yes hindsight is 20/20. Nobody knew he would miss so much time.
