Does anyone understand how ridiculously good Bailey is?

You know who also deserves a BUNCH of praise... LP Ladouceur. Dude has been flawless since we got him in 05! People overlook this position alot, but it is just so dang important! I just read a stat (on wikipedia) that says "In his career, he has made clean snaps on 639 punts, 275 field goals and 388 PATs, including the playoffs." That's pretty damn impressive. Add that to the fact that the guy has never missed a game! Kudos to you LP! And God I sure do love me some Beetle Bailey!

You are so right about that. I guess it's why we don't hesitate to pay him a million or so a year. Good investment!

I don't hate him. I hate Kickers. There's a difference. It is about as subtle as a Mack truck tailgating you at high speed, but it is there.

If this had any truth to it I'd hate Tight Ends. Lost a doll of a girl to one. Was best man at his wedding to a different girl though. I did find a better lady though. That part is very true.

Moreover, 20 of those field goals are over 50 yards and another 35 are over 40 yards. That is Wayne Gretzky kind of dominance!

Well yes in SEA after pull hooking the first field goal left, he had the bells to start the next one at the left upright and fade it in.

I just want him to get a crack at a 60+ Yarder (maybe right at the end of the first half, so a miss wouldn't hurt). I have little doubt that he would nail it.

Curious to know (but not curious enough to check) whether kickers tend to have a higher percentage when they're young-but-established and if it drops at all with age.

EDIT, ok. I looked at Vanderjagt's career, at least. His career was spotted with good and very good years, but there wasn't an obvious trend. So, things like getting hurt, and maybe being a drunk or whatever probably catch up to you, but they don't necessarily automatically happen as your leg gets older.

Now I know why you don't want Witten in the HOF or even the Cowboys Ring of Honor, it all makes sense now.
