Pretty sure the hash is determined by where the previous play ended...kicker doesn't get a choice.

Ooops, just noticed you said X-Pt. I was referring to FG's. Of the question you asked, I have never paid attention. It seems to me like he would always kick from the same spot. I'll be paying attention in the future just out of curiosity.

The previous play always ends in the end zone in these situations

And to answer the OP...the answer is yes

He's toying w the system...practicing his craft during the games

LOL. That's what I figured. He's so good he's just screwing around out there.

Great question and observation!

If he does, there must be a reason for it. I would be surprised if he was just screwing around.

I had never consider how the decision to place the ball after a TD is done.

You can tell the kickers who have low confidence as they line up down the middle on extra points :D

I usually go get a beer when bailey comes in since I already know what the result is going to be lol
Never even paid attention the which side he was kicking from

Probably to be comfortable with different angles in the event that he has to kick FG's later in the game.

I noticed he was kicking from a hash against the Bears and was like "Did the rule change?". I always see them centered otherwise. If this is Bailey using XPs for practicing that is ballsy. But he missed a FG that game so maybe he thinks he needs it lol.
